Wow you got like one of the 3 that still has a working transmission! lol We had 2, they were cheap at the auctions. We just put it on our silo blower...all it had to do was sit there and turn its PTO.
@OzzInter We have one in great shape, only issue is we had an dirty(faulty?) injector shooting wrong sending fuel into engine oil.A 10 hour day in field it would show a gallon too much oil, after replacing injector all was fine. The transmission has been fine,I believe most of the issues stemmed from users power shifting under load(plowing).I believe this was one of the first field tractors to offer (semi) power- shift. Its pulled 5x 16"plows on 180 acres for 40 years with only the one issue.
That thing looks great! Almost got one..but heard the Selecto Speed on it made the tractor junk..so we went with the Allis-Chalmers D-17. Now I am an Allis Man! But this looks like an awesome tractor.

The Ford 6000 Diesel was the only US built Ford farm tractor, rather than British Fordsons, available in Australia in its era.
The 6000 was mainly imported for Australia's wheat farmers. Only wide fronted diesel engine tractors were imported apparently.
Was the 6000 available without the "Select-O-Speed" transmission, which I understand was troublesome?
