  • i believe that your spin at the end was done on purpose!

  • My dad learned to fly in the T-6 in the Air Force in the early 1950's and says spins were a basic part of primary flight training then. He said on spin day they went higher than usual, would do 3 turns, and then recover - opposite rudder and you really had to pop the stick forward. He says the T-6 definitely has interesting spin characteristics, but that was just part of learning to fly in a T-6 back then.

  • Thanks for this; very informative, I'd heard that the Six can drop the port wing close to the stall and can have a nasty snap (not that it does a snap roll well but rather it has some unpleasant characteristics in acro if not flown properly), but I didn't know that hammerheads in it were marginal. Good to know...

(BTW I've flown Sixea and Harvards a few times but never done acro in them; one of my favourite airplanes for just chugging around on perfect autumn afternoons...)

  • The sound of the engine was much better than the song.

  • Outstanding flight ! so Cool. HELP ME MISTER WIZARD, great video thumbs up

  • Now this is one of the very best 'tutorials' on flight characteristics not to try in the real world....

Again in the real world I'd hate to be below 15K feet and attempt anyone of these stunts...
