Hi, I have one of these, 2009 model year. They are very, very nice basses!!! I had an Epiphone variant - no comparison to the Gibson USA model (but there is obviously a significant price differential). These basses sound great. I put mine through a Clone Theory Chorus / Vibrato pedal to get that 'Peter Hook' sound...great fun!

found on ebay, had been keeping an eye out for it for quite a while.. this was came up in germany. go to ebay, search for Gibson Thunderbird and make sure you check WorldWide in search options, then save the search and have it send u email alerts for it, so u get email alert whenever a TB comes us for sale anywhere in the world
