  • u make great interesting videos. keep it up!

  • the move was quiet obvious and there are not much variations that can be played so i would not consider this video interessting. Netherthenless i don't now why i even bother to comment it

  • Bg1 is no desperado at all, it's a discovered attack.

  • @schachgott I'm afraid your wrong. Bg1 is a desperado move. There is also a discovered attackas part of the move but a desperado nevertheless.

  • oohhh nevermind the queen gets taken by the rook now i see it..

  • I am a idiot when it comes to chess but what would happend if the King takes the bishop??just educate me

  • @lazimofo90

that variant was shown in video. 2:56

  • good job, make some more!!

  • Beautiful example. Well explained.

  • As soon as you said "The Bishop can't move because the Rook is lost", I immediately saw Bg1! :-)

  • Well spotted but Marco couldn't see it OTB and resigned.

  • Egad... Should've looked deeper, eh?

    A very nice lesson, Bruce.

  • brilliant mate!!!

  • This famous game was played in Monte Carlo in 1902. However the position is incorrect. White's queen was on d3 already, his rook was on f1. White played 36. Rf1-d1 and Black - not seeing the winning Bd4-g1 - resigned.

  • Thx I couldn't find the actual position and this does change things significantly.

  • Never resign! Good stuff.
