I swim about an hour or 2 out then head back to shore, they dont allow me on the island. Ive run into a few in the early morning, but the trick is to strap eel or chedder fish on the back of your suit,, the smell discourages them and forces their testosterone level to lower and their cholesterol to rise, thus slowing them down. they stay away for the most part.

A couple of seconds later I saw a ripple about 30 feet away, going in the opposite direction. I was out of the water so fast it was fucking crazy!! my legs were compeltely torn up (need several stitches) because I had raced over the rocks close to shore but still in the water with no rehgard for anything but getting out of the water.
