yes it works. The name is a misnomer, DO NOT CROSS YOUR EYES!

Stare through the center, as if your monitor was a screen door or fence. Lightly focus on the "third" image that appears in the middle of the two.

Similar to seeing a "Magic Eye" picture.

No! Magic Eye is the opposite and much harder to do.

With Magic Eye you're trying to look far away, aka slightly wall eyed.

This is cross eyed 3D. Here's a hint; looking at your nose is the same as crossing your eyes.

For this video all the modes are reversed now, even the anaglyph ones (red lens over right eye now!). YouTube must have changed something again. I guess if the same video were uploaded in the opposite side by side mode (LR -> RL, RL -> LR) then all would be OK! Steve.
