  • Remember watching this as a child, over and over again - never sick of it. Great movie!

  • the best ting is most the instremental players are playing for the first time im not kidding my band teacher told me that she's watched the entire movie

  • I love the trailer, it shows you a part that happens in the film, but a full movie on freeFcartoons F.uFs (delete F) shows you everything!

  • @lukman521 I hate bots.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed this animation on crtic.co.cc. the animation was very gripping and suspenseful. This is not to say that it was a perfect animation, but it was very good in general. Definitely should see it if you're into action, but not gory, animations.

  • Amazing cartoon... Saw it earlier today on crtani.co.cc. The most amazing details packed jaw dropping twisting spy cartoon ever. Now this cartoon plot? is probably the most intelligent one invented. You must pay attention to understand this.

  • OMG!!! That was my favourite part from the Fantasia 2000, it s really awesome!

Super! To moj wspomnienie z przedszkola. pierwszy raz to obejrzałam jak miałam może 5 lat i pamiętam że miałam oczy jak spodki XD

  • Ohh snap i was checking out oldschool disney movies , and i thought this was something else , LOL still love it though , usto watch it all the time when i was little <3

  • a really vast collection, surprising audio and video clarity, all this is only found togather at cartoonsi.co.cc...its the best ever site an ponline cartoon watcher could opt for..!

  • Just an amazing piece of craftsmanship.this movie that you can find on cartoonsi.co.cc is funny, extremely moving, and also very suspenseful!

  • Fantasia is so much better than this!!

  • yes i'v said a lot of things

  • yay beethoven

  • winners don't used drugs!

  • See on freecartoonsus if you want! You want reperfect! Fucking good cartoon. Manny of my friends also told this.

  • I keep hoping that there will be something like a Fantasia 2012

  • This movie is a remarkable achievement in animated cinema.I saw it on freecartoonsus and it should really get an academy award

  • the animation is impeccable,I saw it on freecartoonsusus and i think the story is great, and the characters are lovable.

  • Is there any voice actors in this movie?

  • @HalaHadean23 no. but there are small segments where famous actors and singers talk and introduce their favourite peices of music.

  • Thumbs up if you think Fantasia is the best move ever...

  • i really like fantasia. i also love the music that goes with it. now, everytime i here danse macabre i think of the volcanoe and the forest in this movie. also, anytime i here the finale of le carnaval des animaux i think of the dancing hippos

  • In some moments, the cartoon doesn't match the music. For example, the music shows a happyful melody, and cartoon shows evil things. And the inverse. Even so, both are splendid.

  • @Niester2 They wanted to view things show that things aren't always what they seem to be, like with pines of rome.

  • This is a nice movie, but not nearly as much as the original from 1940. (my opinion)

Those who did not watch - you must obtain the old version.

  • This is THE most underrated Disney movie. 75 minutes of pure imagination. So beautiful in its simplicity.

Sadly it gets skipped over, due to poor timing. Disney put out four films in 2000, and Fantasia 2000 lacks the spectacle of Dinosaur, the epicness of Toy Story 2, and the humor of The Emperor's New Groove. It's cerebral and esoteric, not the kind of thing kids direly want to see. I missed this when it came out, for I was one of those kids. I regret it every day of my life.

  • Does anyone get the God vs. Satan reference in here?

  • I say they should make a third fantasia. With todays resources I bet you it would be pretty epic. Who's with me?

  • Looks like a pretentious flash video.

  • I love it!

  • I was very dissappointed when I saw Fantasia 2000, I mean... it's good, but I don't think it uses the music and pictures as good as the old one... but it's okay... I'm just looking forward to the day when the old Fantasia comes out on DVD ^_^

  • melhor canção da disney!

    adorei!

  • I think the Fantasia movies were the best things Disney ever did. xD maybe that's just my bias as a musician, but still.

  • I think so too and I'm not a musician, but my father is and he had us watch these for our home-school music classes or music appreciation. I personally like Fantasia 2000 better

Which is your favorite? Fantasia 1940 or 2000?

  • wow! I didn't know there were 2, lol. i hav 2 go on netfix and decide now... (probably fantasia 2000 though)

    so thanks!

thats cool that your dad did that, that has got to be the PERFECT movie to learn about music. kudos to him! =D

  • @Monica17N Fantasia 2000 is better. More fast, more beauty, and epic.

  • Although I love both of them as masterpieces, for me neither of them are better than one another. But I LIKE Fantasia 2000 better because I can watch through the entire thing, the old Fantasia felt way too long and I had to fast forward some stories that I didn't think were very much fun like the Dinosaurs and the last one Bald Mountain or something... Fantasia 2000 had a lot of my favorite composers in it :D

  • @Monica17N I totally agree, Monica.

  • @Monica17N BOTH IS DAMN GOOD, DO NOT COMPARE THE BESTS :D

Fantasia 1940 is number 1 (first number)

Fantasia 2000 is letter A (first letter)

    Satisfied? xD

  • @13241231324 you're right, both are good

I like and dislike bits and pieces of both of them

  • @kitsunehiXD1134 yeah probably

  • Stupid? For sure, i think.

  • beethoven symphony no 5, my absolute favourite :)

  • @kittyvu88 meee toooo

  • when I first saw this I was so scared!

  • なんたる安易な。

  • THEY PLAY THIS WAY TOO FAST!!!!

  • Why is this in a different keyyyyy than the originalllllll?

Haha, but I loved both Fantasia movies so much.

  • YAY TRIANGLES!

  • It's amazing how they can elicit such an emotional response with just geometrical shapes

  • anyone else reminded of the kryll from gears of war?

  • a great all time video can not get enough

  • 2:20 is my favorite scene really good stuff,

  • Man this is greatv¡ when youre trippin balls.

I can almost guarantee you thats what the guys at Disney where going for on this when.

They said " Why not expand on our horizons and open up to a new crowd....The stoners." xD

    This is beautiful regardless.

  • Disney can always make something lovely and heartwarming

  • does anyone know the name of the music at the start?

fantasia 2000 is a fantastic film, i used to LOVE it when i was a kid and i still do. ;)

  • lol, Beethoven, 5th Symphony xD

  • I actually saw this on an IMAX screen - talk about eyeball- and eardrum- shattering!!

  • 1:46 2:17

  • This is great but Hannah sucks.

  • Bleh- everyone's just going to flame me, but I still insist this whole movie is off track. This segment is an uninspired response to the original Fantasia, for example. The original was born of true inspiration and vision- this was born because it was on the "to do" list.

  • ^^ I'd like to see you do the animation, and then call it 'uninspired'...

  • 1:47 - 2:17

For me, it's the best moment of the song. But the rest is very exellent too !

  • I agree 100%, however, I would extend your choice a little further on each side.

    My favorite part would be

    1:17 - 2:21

  • awesome i love Beethoven and animation!! seeing them together is just a plus for me! i was just wondering, forgive my ignorance everybody, if someone could tell me the name and number of the Symphony being played. Obviously by Beethoven, however the info box doesn't say what symphony number it is exactly so i'd be very much obliged!!

  • 'Tis Beethoven's 5th Symphony! :D

  • I love this one :)

  • Can I know what is the name of this song plz?

  • Beethovens 5th

  • Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 Op. 67 in C minor to be specific. =p

  • An abridged version of the first movement: Allegro con brio FROM Beethoven's 5th Symphony (in Cm Op. 67) to be even more specific!

  • Darn you! =P

  • i got a bit bored to be honest ,

well i think then i waz too young to appreciate it,

but it is amazing now that i see it

  • i love this movie as well as the original.. the music in both of the movies is AMAZING.. and its crazy how they got the animation i think on point hah.. it goes perfectly with the music!

  • The original is always better.

  • All of my friends think I am a geek for absoloutly adoring this film. I can't help it; it brinks back so many childhood memories. I love Fantasia too much. :)

  • Beethoven's work is so good. tan dan dan dan...

  • I never saw this movie. Only the original Fantasia film.

  • when i was a kid i didnt fully appreciate this masterpiece! i am in awe

  • i like the whole symphoy rather then just the first movement....the first movment is over played but it loses none of its grandess no matter how many time's you listen to it

  • i remember watching this with my parents in the theater :] love it

  • i remember watching this in grade 1

  • What's wrong with the sound? Beethoven 5 is in C minor and this is definitely almost C-sharp minor...but not quite! Does it sound like this on the DVD or is there a glitch here on this upload?

  • they probably used their own symphony and changed the key. no biggy

  • On the contrary, from a cinematic and animation perspective, this was a fantastic touchstone in film history. It is also a throwback to how silent films could tell complex, archetypical stories, both comedic AND tragic, all with images and no dialogue. If you want to be a butt about it and argue how the music is butchered and how music is bastardized for Disney's vision, then go ahead. But this is, along with the first Fantasia in 1940, unequivocally one of the seminal films in modern cinema.

  • Most epileptics would have the intelligence level to avoid laser shows JackKovack.

  • I saw this movie, it was amazing!

  • The quality of this video is horrifying.

  • yup

  • I love the effect at 2.40 when the darkness starts breaking slowly, showing the light behind ^^

  • is this a sympony?

  • man...what a trip

  • wat the hell r those things?!

  • those things seems to be butterflies and bats

  • I believe that those things are not anything, they are a translation of sound to picture.

  • sorry i did it again it is the 5th symphony. Sorry

  • Iam sorry ,i beg your forgiveness it is the Ninth Symphony i meant to say so but was thinking of something else..sorry...

  • ninth

  • I loved this piece. A great opening to the film, too. ^^

Which of Beethoven's symphonies is this? I always seem to forget. :b

  • Da 5th Symphony - and this is the first movement.

  • i watched this earlier 2day

  • i luv how the music sounds.

somebody should TRY 2 get the movie all in one video. lol

  • Beethoven was a genius!

  • what does these words: what you said 2 weeks ago mean?

  • noob

  • I love fantasia so much!!! What the artists have accomplished is so wonderful, its one thing to animate but to have to have everything in synch with the music must have been quite a challange. Often the music can be built around the animation, but not with a lot of this

  • Cool

  • The "laser beam", "the tink-tink-tink" and the abstract CGI-like science-fiction film going over "Symphony No.5" began the millenium and this was the beginning over

a millenium and the first ever Disney-IMAX film.

  • ...Although I have to admit 2:20-2:26 is absolutely stunning in HD IMAX! But seriously, I like the older one better. But this one has its moments!

  • I first saw this in an IMAX theater in the Tech Museum in San Jose, California for a junior high school field trip. It was wonderful! But for some reason, I like the Fantasia from 1940 better. The new one looks like it's trying to be too artistic.... too cinematic. The original had a better feel to it in that respect.

  • i betcha this vid could give sum1 a seizure

  • they were actually going to make a fantasia 2006 but it was cancelled

  • I knew it! I knew it was alive! Why did they cancel it anyway?

  • they were interested in other media possibilities, the little match girl, and lorenzo were planned for it

  • what is lorenzo?

  • you know...they shoud make a Fantasia 2008...

  • You're right! But you need to write a pitch. And you need to get the go from Mr. Iger. I think you have a point there. It can be a GREAT idea and this will be a "road-show" film like the first and like the second, an IMAX film. We can get funds for charity: autism foundations, UNICEF, the environment protection unions and more! Tell everyone on YouTube and plan the pitch! This can be like a film school project from Cal-Arts, the NYFA,

Walt Disney Feature Animation, IMAX, XM and Sundance TV. JT.

  • wow, you're really onto this! Yea, it would be a great idea. With all kinds of new music, it would be great!

  • The ULTIMATE project should be 154 minutes lon, WITH a new 30-minute intermission. Two hours and 24 minutes long. PERFECT IDEA!

  • Did the animators even think about epileptics watching this? What's with all the strobe animation?

  • Most epileptics would have the intelligence level to avoid laser shows JackKovack.

  • Those butterflies look like paper airplanes. :)

  • Anyone know what song this is. Its Beehtoven right?

  • That's right, Beethovens fifth symphony

  • I have the Fantasia 2000 video, and this is one of my favorite's parts! but I want to see the first Fantasia... Does Youtube has it?

  • Youtube has the one from 1946 if you're takling of this one...

I think it's even better (the old one).

    Just look for "fantasia 1946"!

  • when i was 3, in the Las vegas strip, i saw this in a hotel movie place! To me, some parts scary/boaring (dont blame me, I had a weak mind back then) but I just LOVED it! It got me into liking Fantasia, and still, in the year 2008, DISNEY's magic still hasnt left my soul!

  • I wanna watch this on HD! It'd be soooo good!

  • i know i was just thinking the same thing :D

  • I LOVE THIS PART IN FANTASIA 2000!!!! butterflies......

  • This is not Fantasia 2000

  • Unfortunatly (for you) it is.

  • I know i thought i had fantasia 2000 but i had fantasia 1999

  • 1:32-1:37 is my favorite part. *o*

  • Just a reminder: This year is the 200th anniversary of the Fifth and Sixth Symphonies.

    (December 22, 1808)

  • I love this song so much. I'm so happy we get to play it for a band piece

  • I had watch it before.Anyway, which one is better, Fantasia 2000 or older version of fantasia?

  • they're both quite different.

fantasia 2000 is better quality sound and video. some videos are nice and original like rhapsody in blue. but i like the music from the old one the best (apart from the quality, cant blame them, it was made in 1940). 2000 has a bit more modern works.

i think you should just watch both =)

  • the whale part comes after this

  • i hate the whale part

  • *gasp* why? >(

  • I dont know...is a little bit boring

  • very very nice...

    gives me goosebumps

  • could you upload the steadfast tin soldier? the ones i find arent it... please and thank you!
