two: i come from a long line of games such as starlancer, startrek klingon academy, and the homeworld series. cloaking devices are meant to be used in ofensive, hit and run and defencive purpouses.

the problm with the cloaking device is that you cant cloak if your targeted, which i think is dumb as hell, i can understand a targeting delay and losing your target locks but not being able to cloak to lose enemy locks via cloaking because your targeted is stupid.

yeah it is, takes about a week to get your bearings but its well worth it. one the things i like most about eve is that due to the variety of things you can do, the game can be as fast or slow paced as you need it to be.

to be honest its really your pc. i realized after a time that even you dont see many changes often the rews rise and the computer gets out of date. the best is to invest 800€ dollars once and you will get a nice pc for EVE in HD grafix. i am also saving up for one too with dual core and 8800 tx you can even run 2 clients very smoothly without a problem. + the internet 16000+ cable ftw!!!

I think it was mainly because if you installed the trinity client on top of the old client some things could get screwed up, so all you have to do (worked for me) is de-install the game and reinstall it with the latest trinity client available and it will work great.

(and BTW my PC is state of the line.)

Once EVE allows you to leave the ship and play an actualy character as well, I will go back to playing it.. I had fun with it before yes, but being a ship floating in space, mining shit and doing missions gets boring when yer a noob

oh yeah definately. i've been playing EVE for only a month and i'm definately hooked. i haven't been hanging around hi-sec this whole time though, i've joined a low-sec corporation and it definately makes it a lot more fun than mining and doing missions. A little bit of pew pew isn't bad for the soul here on EVE ;D
