John accidently jumped into his part behind harrisons's solo to soon 1:18 missing the 'break' where it comes to stop. Ringo keenly steps in and gives the rest of them a one hit solid down beat 1:21 and puts the whole band back on the same page. They all counted on Ringo to lead the band when they were playing together. This is one of the atributes of a great drummer!!

Even though Paul forgot the lyrics I like this better than the recorded version because you can see how the Beatles were growing musicians just from George's improvised solo. It's got a psychedelic touch that the Beatles were starting to get into and gain influence from by early '66. Only a year later they created the greatest psychedelic album of all time. What a fucking amazing band.

Unlike Paul, I wouldn't be able to think with all that racket going on! And sure could not carry a tune when you you can't hear yourself or the other guys sing! Some singers today wear an earplug to hear the band that was not available then. They were truely amazing and remain unscathed as far as being the best of all time!

I always thought the Beatles rocked this song so much better live than the feel on the record. They sort of produced it with heavy harmonies and extra drums. It's a balls to the wall rocker, and they should have kept it as such on the record. Striped down, snarling, and naked. Just the four of them rocking it live. Like they did here or at Shea Stadium.

Yeah. With a combination of being put off by touring and a lack of rehearsal, John, Paul and George all forgot how the song started, and Paul would forget lyrics twice more during the performance. In the same show, George introduced "Yesterday" as being from Beatles for Sale instead of Help :)
