  • Shame that there had to be the music and a good minute to read each line...get on with it!

  • Was Buddha free from sufferings? Do all of buddhists know the Buddha' eat poison mushroom even he knew it? Do all of buddhists know Buddha had back pain and stomach ache? Do all buddhists know Buddha feel bore at old age?

  • Thanks for sharing this.

  • It is great, thanks.

  • Do u think that mushroom kill him? Or he knows he dying n eat the mushroom? Who prove the mushroom is poison? Why only he the one eat that poison mushroom?he stills a normal ppl that hav to go thru the cycle of life before he attains Nirvana.

  • @scorpiospencer That's a point, but the story that I heard is that he was poisoned by a jealous follower whom wished to be the first one, his favorite. And YES, Buddha knew about his intentions before the act and warned him about the consequences (a birth as a flower in the garden - pointing the place where he would born). Please, study more about Buddhism, because is a wonderful doctrine. Regards.

  • Though I respect Buddah and his sayings he isn't the one and true messiah. That would be Jesus who rose from the grave. He lives!! His last words were.. It is finished. He accomplished his mission.

  • I have a question for buddhists...You say that you have no God, but with whom do you guys speak with by clasping your hands together and sitting in front of the statue?

  • @nuskiniyaz That gesture is used as a sign of homage or merely a salute--to which no answer of any kind is expected. Huamg Po, a 9th century Chinese Chan master was asked "You say no one should ever ask anything from Buddha and yet here you are bowing to this Buddha statue every day. How is that?" Ït is merely the way I express my gratitude, nothing more." Hui Hai, Huang Po's teacher said: "Buddhas cannot save sentient beings [...] otherwise we would have all been freed from pain long ago."

  • @MysticOfTheSands OK understood!

But just in case if you want to ask something, then from whom do you ask? I mean, Jews ask from Yahweh, Christians from Christ, Muslims from Allah, Hindus ask from the many Gods they have...so who is there for you people to ask from?

  • @nuskiniyaz Nobody. And I'm not trying to be depressing here. The very core of any and all Buddhist teaching is this: "To freely use your own treaure [i.e. mind] whenever you wish, having nothing further to seek or to do, that itself is liberation." That is to say, the whole point of all this jazz is to go beyond the very need of asking anyone for anything at all; ofcourse, you can ask someone to pass the salt at dinner, that's not the point, I only ment asking for boons.

  • @nuskiniyaz Now, there are people (not few) who DO ask various buddhas and bodhisatvas for this or that (protection from harm, etc) due to the teaching that those who are enlightened are boundlessly compassionate. And they are, but not in that way. "He who knows Truth shall give his life and possesions for it". Also: "Not seeking anything anywhere is Great Compassion;being aware that there is no one anywhere in need of salvation is Great Mercy ". (see below)

  • @nuskiniyaz The part on Great Mercy means this: that one is aware that no being lacks anything essentialy necessary for freeing himself from ignorance and pain; one need only give such a person a slight push in the right direction. Thus, one cannot and should not gloat that "I have saved another", rather, one should gladly realise "He has saved himself". If you have further questions, PM me. If not, well... goodbye! Asalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu! :)

  • @MysticOfTheSands OK fine!

After reading the teachings of Buddha, I notice that nowhere has the Buddha mentioned to make statues, drawings or sculptures about him. But nowadays most of the Buddhists are doing the opposite! Why do such a thing? In fact, Buddha Himself meditated but he didn't do it in front of a statue just for the sake of it being a focal point for meditation, a symbol of truth, and the path toward enlightenment. If He acknowledged it He should have done it but why not?

  • @nuskiniyaz Very true. Personally I treat those statues as artwork and nothing more. They're "nice"if I may use that word, but harmful if you treat them as "holy", thereby depending on them. "He who seeks me by form and sound has not seen the Tathagata"(The Diamond Sutra). Rather he said: "He who has seen the Dharma has seen me and he who has seen me has seen the Dharma". His teaching is the only "image"we should keep of him. So you are absolutely corect, my friend.

  • @nuskiniyaz Still,in Korean Buddhism MAKING drawings of buddhas and bodhisatvas is used as a meditative technique. The author is supposed to be mindful of each and every stroke and line from begining to end, casting out all other thoughts and preocupations. In Tibet they do the same with sand mandalas, with a twist: they make them, slowly and consciously and at the point of completion, they destroy them with one sweep of the hand. It is an ilustration of impermanence.

  • @nuskiniyaz So we may use images as tools, but not think of them as "special". It is said that a disciple of the Buddha should not feel shame, fear, anger or regret when buddhist temples, books atc are damaged or destroyed. A saying goes: "The Mind is the stupa to which one should go on pilgrimage".

  • @MysticOfTheSands Fine! I also came across this saying from the Buddha!

    “Oh my dear Monks,

Samma Sambuddha, the All Knowing One has given up all desires. He is devoid of anger He is devoid of mystical foolishness. Therefore, he has no fear. No perturbation. No mental Stress. Never runs away. He is fearless. He is not quaking either.”

    -(Gauthama Buddha-Dajagga Sutta-Samutta Nikaya)

Why do you think that the Buddha was saying "HE" instead of "I" knowing that He Himself was the Samma Sambuddha?

  • @nuskiniyaz I think this simply means Samma-Sambudha as a category of people. The meaning is: Anyone ho is enlightened displaies such and such atributes. There are a lot of places where we find Shakyamuni using the word "I" when refering to himself, but he also sometimes refers to himself using 3rd person expressions. The case you pointed out may be such a one; so it might mean: I have given up all desires, I am devoid of anger etc. Not sure. But the first interpretation seems more likely.

  • @MysticOfTheSands Yeah if He would have mentioned "I" then it would have been easier, but Buddha mentions "HE" giving a big doubt to all of us. This, kind of, makes the whole way of life of Buddhism doubtful. Samma-Sambuddha, Shakyamuni all refer to the same person Siddhartha Gauthama Buddha. But also I have notice whenever the third person is used, its all about praising and not about teaching! Why does He always praise in the form of the third person? Is Buddha referring to someone else?

  • @MysticOfTheSands Also the Buddha doesn't like praising Him, but why does He Himself praise Him?

Buddha once said that He is NOT GOD, NOT SAINT, NOT A SPIRIT but said that He is simply Awake to a brahmin, showing that He does not anticipate anyone praising, praying to or worshiping Him. So He Himself praising Him is irrelevant, isn't it?

  • @nuskiniyaz Yes indeed. Maybe the ones who compiled the Pali canon wrote this way in order to stirr up respect in the readers/listeners of the time. We have to remember that the Suttas are NOT verbatim recordings, rather each early disciple came forth with what he had memorised of Gautama's discourses and that was standardised shortly thereafter. Personally I don't see the Buddha praising himself, precisely because that IS irrelevant. He even said we shouldn't believe his words on faith so...

  • @nuskiniyaz ...it doesn't make sense that Shakyamuni would say "Look how great I am!".On a side note, there are 3 types of buddhas acording to the Pali canon: samma-sambudha, pacceka buddha and sravaka buddha. Look it up.

  • @MysticOfTheSands Ya that is what I meant, Praising Himself either in the first person or the third person does not make any sense! OK, I shall read about the 3 types of Buddhas.

I have another question, how can we prove that the Buddha has been enlightened? I mean, all people die & their bodies disappear once they are buried or cremated. You may say that people who don't live properly are not enlightened & it can be proved by small children speaking about their past life.......

  • @MysticOfTheSands ....experiences. But the fact is that such incidents are reported only in India & Sri Lanka where Buddhism is taken seriously, then how about the rest of the people living on Earth? This also occurs only in children under 5 years old. If a soul can remember about its past life it means that it has memory bound with it & this memory CANNOT be forgotten. If the soul exists, its memory also should exist. Clarify me on this please!

  • @nuskiniyaz how old are you now ? do you / can you remember what happened to you on 10 years,10days ago from now ? do you remember what you ate last week ? to remember the past events in self, is to know oneself first. thats how I understand anyway. I can understand many people including yourself have doubts over Buddha, what he said, why he did, and also others... I also had these doubts before. But I found answers to most now. hope you do too. the best wishes.

  • @nuskiniyaz Well re birth does NOT happen!

For every human Allah has made a qareen (a shaitan jinn) who stays with him thru his entire life. And when one dies his qareen goes and joins another new born.

    Think of it this way.

    1. All the reborn stories are from human to human. If there is truth in what you are saying, No infant has claimed he was a mosquito or a fish in his earlier life, although in theory more than 99% of such claims should be from animals and germs.

  • @alfulani5 That is what I said! The shayatheen are playing the fool here. Of course we have come across people who have been possessed. Recently a known person of mine was possessed, and that person started saying about a life and if I was a buddhist I would have believed in it. The shaythan spoke about working with a man in some place, etc. So actually these people who speak about these don't know about this. They are made to believe that it is true! Only Allah has to save them and guide them.

  • @alfulani5 yes it does..... your book is wrong..... all 3 Abrahamic religions are false

  • @TheEthereallotus

Buddhists believe if someone does good in this life he will have a good life next time around.

At the same time they deny the existence of a creator, and everything happens by random chance.

Something really does not make sense here.

  • @alfulani5 I am not a buddhist...... but reincarnation is very, very real..... sorry if that bothers you

  • @TheEthereallotus Well if it so, you are free to believe Rabbits have only three legs. Bye

  • @alfulani5 I am free..... thank you... and no slave to any religion...

    as my creator intended

  • @alfulani5 i believe christans have four legs. Why? because they call themself a sheep.

  • xians presume Jesus' final words were something like, ' ..after Im gone worship me as a god. '

  • namaste

from native american 'indian' in usa

  • THANK YOU

  • Om Mani Padme Hum _/\_

  • Bella música. Encantadora y mágica. Paz interior.

  • The second coming is your own enlightenment. God does live within you, do nit fear your true identity. Love everything

  • "he who needs convincing deals in faith, and to strengthen this burden he will seek to convince; because ultimately it is the comfort in "ACCEPTANCE" that drive his motive"

  • ooo masallah!!! great!

  • It would be so nice all wars end now!!!!!!! Bring peace to our World.!!!!!

  • And then Satan appeared to Jesus and told him to join him and satan will give him everything in the world and share his power. Hello?? Jesus is the son of god. Satan was a fallen angel. Who is greater eh? Make any sense? Failed! So before any of you christians come here to thrash our beliefs, I suggest you dig deep into your holy bible and ponder upon the absurdity your Holy Memoirs' written by humans has to offer.

  • @cwmak70 are you trying to convert us or what sir?

  • @HanDynasty26349 This is a reply to maxismax100. Convert who? Buddhism to christianity or christianity to buddhism. Neither. If you understand english, I am insulting christianity.

  • @cwmak70 Ok i just misunderstood a bit

  • @HanDynasty26349 No problem dude.. You probably saw me writing too many 'Jesus' in there. LOL. Sadhu, Sadhu, Sadhu. Glad you understood. Cheers!

  • Let's talk based on reality. First off, god is testing his people. What is there to test? Is this a game? He sends his beloved son Jesus to earth to save us from our sins in which he created in the first place. He is god is he not? He can say,' Oh, f*ck it. Let there be no sins!' But noooo.. he had to send his son to die on the cross for us. why? Jesus would be thinking,' WTF?!' This doesn't make sense at all.

  • Buddha existed way before Jesus. Wonder where were the preachers then. I don't blame Buddha for not believing in god because not one single soul ( NO christians exist that time as in followers of christ ) spread judaism? Because all these old testaments evolved around the Middle East.

How were the non believers saved that point of time? Anyone? Do enlighten me. Millions must have gone to hell then. No one told them about god.

  • @cwmak70 lol

  • @cwmak70 are you trying to convert us or trying to spread facts my friend?

  • @HanDynasty26349 concept of conversion only occurs in christianity............

  • @thethethethe184 ik im asaking him if hes trying to convert us to christ

  • @cwmak70 I do englighten you , no problem ! Have you ever heard of Islam , if you haven't just read the Quran and it tells you everything ! Chistianity and judaism are twisted branches of Islam! God sent messengers from the time of Adam to the time of Muhammed (pbuh), every generation had prophets and books sent from God ,the last prophets which we know were Moses , Jesus , Muhammed peace be upon them! Every prophet had the same message , to believe in ONE GOD and not worship humans

  • @cwmak70 "Because what may be known about God is manifest among them, for God made it manifest to them. For His invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world's creation onward, even His eternal power and Godship, so that they are without excuse."-Romans 1:19,20

  • @cwmak70

hells a fake story, re incarnation is all that happens

    until we become heaven ourselves

  • @cwmak70

all religions are the same, they teach us to behave good which will lead ppl to go to a good place, millions will not go to hell if they behave good bcos that time they r other religions...

  • @cwmak70 these were people who had access to the vedas, and an understanding of god that surpasses the catholic church's perceptions on capital gain and mind controll, no one told you about india

  • @cwmak70 Sorry Brother, but you are not right. Jesus as GOD(LOGOS II Hypostase of HOLLY TINITY) existed before Univerce it means that every time and without time.As a Human He was Born 2012 yers ago.His bith was an INCARNATION OF GOD CREATOR in Human. But all the believers af OLD TESTAMENT ( it means before his incarnation) who belived in BIBLICAL GOD were Christians B.C.(Including Adam, Noah, Abraham and all the Prophets).

  • @TheKing2033 I must disagree about what you said regarding the old testament, because it's clear to me that their god was another one, different from the god in new testament. The former is rancorous, revengeful, unfair and too much, human.

  • @cwmak70 and also, since there are many religions which preach for eternal heaven and hell, if we do not believe in just one of them, are we destined for eternal hell? the view of eternal hell then does not stand.

  • something bout this spirit is very interesting, it so beautifuly reflects on beauty and love for the neighbor unconditionaly. and that is exactly what the Lord jesus wants us to do; for he left us one command and that was to love your neighbor as your self or also to love one another as he has loved us. greater love hath no man than this, than for for a man to lie down his life for his friends.

  • sounds like egyptian tango!

  • vry touching music and great thought as one can change there life by addopting the teachings of buddha and transform inner-self fully in new dimension

  • every human every soul either good or bad ,angle or evil ,sinner, god or devil every one want to live as a good humanbeing

  • ------------------requests to all to request and pray, enemities, quarrels ,old evil (bhudhi) intelligence of sins like veangins ,kama (so far which are the cause for every bad happenings ),enemities to destroy, spoiling others, hates for others all bad wisedom, bad evil thoughts, be change to good & noble and betterment for others, intelligence not commiting sins and not doing bad for others,.and save every soul ,grand soul, humans , balas in back bones , kundlani power , every of humans .

  • why dont people undrestand, Buddha siddartha ofcourse believed in God (Allah), why dont people undrestand that religions gets altered as time passes, cant you people sense the fragrance of God (Allah in his words.he was only there so that people undrestand God through him.

  • @Afghan4evaa No. He did not belive in Allah, He belived in Brahman.

  • @Afghan4evaa My Afghani brother, Buddha was an Agnostic (some even claim he was Atheist), which means that either he didn't believe in existence of God or he wasn't sure if God's existence could be known.

  • @TheAtheistHindu

Buddha talked about divine beings (gods) all the time in his teaching. Google on and read Dhammacakkapavatana sutta, the first discourse after Buddha's enlightenment. After Buddha's enlightenment, the gods from 10000 world systems rejoiced.

Google Tipitaka on-line. Tipitaka is the holy book of the Buddists. It's the original teaching of the Buddha. Brahma or deva is the term used by Buddha which means divine beings or gods

  • @impermanentoo Thank you for letting me know this. Still, I admire the fact that many of Buddhists and their philosophies do not include and preach about Gods in their discourses.

  • @Afghan4evaa The Buddha said "Bodhi" - the inner ultimate of beings whcih became BOD and which in turn to GOD. The two who came down from Qurram mountain to two sides of the mountain after listening to the discourse of the Punna Thera the arahant(deciple of Buddha) set up the order of the GOD and ALLAH. Both Cristianity and Islam come from the same roots whcih in turn come from the Buddha's teachings. Study the Dead see scrolls, study the Nalanada,India scriptures. Why fight eachother?

  • Not only the Buddha but this is how every arahant pass away. One has to go deep down to the root cause of existence and eliminate it for the last time and come back to the present moment and die. Then there is no cause left to be born again. That's Buddha's full teaching in a nutshell.

  • Buddhism is the only religion that has the capacity to contain all other religion in the world. For the goal of Buddhism is not to dominate evil, nor it is to vanquish evil, nor it to uphold justice.

Buddhism transcends good and evil - and seek to liberate ALL sentient beings from sufferings. What could be nobler than that? What teaching does not resonate with that?

  • Thank you for this beautiful video!

YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT BUDDHA WAS AN ATHEIST HE DID NOT BELIVIEV IN GOD WITH OUT GOD YOUR NOTHING BUT YOUR WAYS ARE CORRUPT AND SINFUL SEEK JESUS FOR SALVATION

  • @maxismax100 Can't tell if trolling or extremely retarded ...
