  • 1969 Buick Electra 225 Custom. Girdle, Inconel valves, billet rods,

JE forged and coated pistons, roller rockers, & Swain tech ceramic combustion chambers. HP target has not been reached yet. She weighs 4,800 lbs has a 2.5 to 1 high speed gear set in her Ford 9" AND STILL pulled 110mph in the quarter before we shmized first gear. We will get to some better numbers in the spring. Oh, by the way she is a numbers matching 430 car upgraded to Buick 430 STAGE 2.

  • What were the HP numbers?? I agree with the WOW factor tho...whew....

  • The theme of the Faithful Pursuit project was to emulate the Turbo-Supercharged P-47 Thunderbolt fighter of World War II, whose washing machine sized turbo was behind the pilot.

The benefits of rear mount are as follows: Less underhood heat means greater thermal efficiency. Better weight distribution, ours is 50/50. Better weight transfer for acceleration. Ours is under 4 sec. 0-60. And you cannot beat the "Wow!" factor .

  • Enough space under the bonnet, so why to place the turbochargers in the rear of the car. Turbos work primary with heat and are to place as near as possible to the exhaust ports.

  • that is really nice! i would like to read more about this car. is there a website?
