  • The right hand seemed useless in this piece, I hope there's a kind of follow-up etude for the R.H. alone to this. But very beautiful piece. Bravo.

  • @paopaomanalansan whats the point, left hand is harder to play

  • this pianist deserves to be heard more often.... excellent stuff!

  • 20 idiots have put thumb down... ?

  • Complimenti !!! Veramente grande musicalità ....non solo grande tecnica ...

  • This alone is just beautiful!

  • Fantastic. I heard Sandro play at a summer school in August. He amazed event where he amazed even the internatilanl concert pianists by his sensitivity as well as virtuosity. Yes he can use his right hand too.

  • It was helpful to get a "bird's eye" view of the left hand! 5 stars!

  • Yeah but can he play it with his right hand too??

  • My brain just stopped working...

  • wow...sounds like two hands...now i'm interetsed in the left hand repertoire

  • A bit Fast, but lovely non the less

  • I love the ending, so beautiful...

  • stunning..

  • Nice Indeed .. ! Now --back to practicing.. or no bread and water for you.. (joke). Very fine playing really.

  • He is a very brave pianist....thank the gods for the split notes: this proves he is only human.

  • It is quite a shame....Although he is excellent and a pleasure to listen to, I myself have been playing this piece in much better fashion I should say for at least 25 years and because I've (we've) always been of meager means, I've never been "showcased" or "discovered" so I shall shuffle along to my job every day and never have the occasion to perform for a gracious audience... sorry... even my piano has been sold...

  • How very sad, I must say.

  • Thank you kind sir... you are a man of fine standing :)

  • I do think you're mistaken. I'm an asshole. But I do have SOME heart left.... Better make good use of it than bad, I say :)

  • then do it..if not...your heart does not want to!

  • he is amazing! and not only that..he is my cousin!

i have videos of him playing at my house which i will update soon.

he is one of a kind

  • What a cocky remark. He said "many of us", not "the rest of us" or even "most of us".

  • Russo is amazing! What virtuosity! And he never forgets the music -- this is after all entertainment. Blumenfeld (1863-1931) was one of Horowitz's teachers, and Horowitz used to play Blumenfeld's etudes when he was young. Of course...

  • many of us wouldn't be able to play this using both hands....

  • That is right.
