Fantastic. I heard Sandro play at a summer school in August. He amazed event where he amazed even the internatilanl concert pianists by his sensitivity as well as virtuosity. Yes he can use his right hand too.
It is quite a shame....Although he is excellent and a pleasure to listen to, I myself have been playing this piece in much better fashion I should say for at least 25 years and because I've (we've) always been of meager means, I've never been "showcased" or "discovered" so I shall shuffle along to my job every day and never have the occasion to perform for a gracious audience... sorry... even my piano has been sold...
Russo is amazing! What virtuosity! And he never forgets the music -- this is after all entertainment. Blumenfeld (1863-1931) was one of Horowitz's teachers, and Horowitz used to play Blumenfeld's etudes when he was young. Of course...
The right hand seemed useless in this piece, I hope there's a kind of follow-up etude for the R.H. alone to this. But very beautiful piece. Bravo.

It was helpful to get a "bird's eye" view of the left hand! 5 stars!

What a cocky remark. He said "many of us", not "the rest of us" or even "most of us".
