  • THE MAN LOOKS SO WELL DRESSED

  • it's coming on tcm next week.

  • OMG, no wonder the guy's sweating. There he is, her legs apart, his head between them... And he blows it -- or I should say, doesn't.

  • This has always been one of my all time favorites... The music is so incredibly, hauntingly beautiful. They just don't make movies, or music, like this anymore.

  • What a wonderful movie! Beautiful! Thank you for posting!!!

  • There was a place

where we could start over again

A place where we met all over again

    a summer place...

  • Love this, i was so small. I knew it was so romantic. I didn't get the jest of the movie till much later, love this. Thank you so much. era gone by!

  • WONDERFUL...Innocence yet sensuousness explored. Classic and timeless.

  • Oh ! Troy ...tan guapisimo ! / Linda pelicula / hermosos recuerdos de antaño !

  • I wish I could see the entire film, I love this movie.

  • He shoulda boned her, right there.

  • @cannuckistan - she shoulda taught him all she learned on that rooftop. He's a wienie.

  • Sandra Dee is THE icon representing a far better time.

  • Sandra Dee was one healthy girl.

  • I had no idea this beautiful song was from this movie, please someone upload this movie...

  • The woman who played Sandra Dee's mom was in a soap opera for many years after this show.

  • i love this movie. i wish i could watch it right now. it hasnt been on cable for a long time. my dad got me hooked on this movie.

  • good old days love story isnt it ?

  • Movie like this doesn't come often!! And, that music, wonderful...

  • This is one of my top 20 movies; I love it! Its just so trashy and sensationalist, but in a really cute, coy 1950's way. The things that are so uttterly shocking in it are nothing at all by today's standards.

    Thanks for posting this!

  • someone has to post this movie. its never on tv

  • It's available on DVD market.........

  • @jaygunkim but they want it free......youtube style..you know..

  • @ra86226 I saw this on TV just recently. It has always been one of my favourite movies and I was so happy to see it again.

  • Great song ...great fun movie ... I have it on VHS ....

  • Grande cine and a very memorable moviie .Got to love it .

  • I love this song. Two marriages, and just split up with my girlfriend of three years and I'm still a hopeless romantic

  • C'est le temps où l'amour nous envahissait tout doucement mais intensément, où la prudeur nous réservait toute la beauté et le charme d'une relation amoureuse.

  • i'm 19 years old and holly cow these movies just makes my heart go limp. sandra dee is a timeless beauty... i wish i was living in the 50s/60s... sighh

  • See Debbie Reynolds movies . The song Tammy is one of my all time favs. plus Imitation of Life . You can find them on Youtube .

  • Eastwood? Now? But not then.

  • I was the structural engineer on the renovation of the summer cottage, which is featured in this movie. In fact I worked on the entire Mission Ranch for Clint Eastwood, who owns the place.

  • Today its all about liberal democ values, but as they say: Democ is its own worst enemy.

But nice movie and lovely soundtrack.

  • that's why it's lasted as long as it has.

  • Hollywood lost it's glamour long long time ago, and the timeless beauties of yesteryear will never be again.

  • @53497678 geez, don't do it! get that gun away from your head. no reason to end it all yet. you have a lot to live for, like obama's second term. on second thought, hell, go ahead and end it.

  • They never show this movie anymore. Funny. I think Troy Donohue is the WORST actor, but the movies he's in I like. Rome Adventure is another great movie.

  • Ironically, when I hear Percy Faith's version of the title song, I'm taken back to my first "girlfriend" and the summer of '94. I remember taping the song off the local oldies station and playing it all summer, after we broke up and we stopped talking...

It's no wonder the track is used so often in movies that convey a romantic scene. It's so idyllic and beautiful, and it really conjures up the imagery of sepia-toned sunsets and the lost innocence of the 50's.

  • thats wyatt !!!

  • this was a beautiful movie.this was when men were gentlemen and a woman was a lady.nowadays only 2% of men are gentlemen so sad but true.lovely scen in the garden too.

  • @RavishingRedheadd your so right, this is a great movie....i love sandra dee

tell them like it is redhead

  • @RavishingRedheadd Quite right, and ladys are nonexistant.

  • Sandra Dee was my dream lover. She was really sweet & lovely, I can't find such another girl nowaday.

  • Such an beautifully evocative movie of late 1950's. The end of America's innoncence. A time no more. Thank you so much !

  • Well Said!

  • a classic scene. everything!!, music (wonderful and timeless), mood, Sandra Dee (POOR KID..i,m so sad about her), Troy..the place, dress, colors..One of icon moments of the fifties..I guess. I love this clip. Carlos from Argentina

  • This moment also makes me think of the Platters' song "Twilight Time". Sooo romantic!

  • This is one of the most romantic moments in the movie.

  • That's right!

  • Please post more clips from the movie.
