Actually, that closing music [which was, no doubt, tacked on from another source] was used in the 1937-'38 "Merrie Melodies" cartoons, not the "Looney Tunes" series. As far as I know, National Telefilm Associates had nothing to do with the distribution of ANY Warner Bros. cartoons, pre-1949 or otherwise. This NTA logo is the one they used during the 1970's.

To me, the 'Looney Tunes' music sounds more like the ending of 1930s and pre-1942 'Merrie Melodies' music.
