AS3 is fast(er) (that is from AS2), not fast enough.

changing to AS3 may be difficult, but its certainly rewarding...

better compile-time checking, fewer scope problems... since then, it is AS2 who makes me cry :)

I was building an extensive video training module in as3....I spent hundreds of hours on it before I went back to as2 and now its a breeze......damn garbage collector in as3 was only half the problem
