I could understand Nell being mistaken for being Mrs. Fong. If she was married to an Asian man and took his surname, than that would be possible. But to ask the chief if he was Mr. Fong, that was stupid. It was an obvious mistake by the phone company.
That news reporter also played Nell's sister's husband in an earlier episode and the guy that Nell and Addie were fighting over in a Christmas episode...
