NO TASERS for law enforcement. Only officers with advanced training and experience should be allowed to carry firearms. This will force law enforcement to develope their communication skills and their interactions with the public. It will stop them from working from an ego and power hungry position. They will have to work on a much different level if they do not have tasers and immediate access to firearms. They would be less bullying and it would also help their public image.
Cops become cops because they are failed bullies. They need to work together and hold people at the mercy of their badges and guns to harass and brutalize people while above the law. That means every cop, at some level, is a bully. The psychology of it is always there. So most police have a better education than you. Roughly 7.2% of ALL police in the united states have no degree except for their High School Diploma(they were grandfathered in.) Those stats are from 2007.

Sigh. Stupid internet bitches. Cops have to obtain at least an associates degree at the time of the Academy starting. 90% of cops have an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science; 6% have an Associates in foreign language, and 4% have an associates in Business Management.
So most police have a better education than you. Roughly 7.2% of ALL police in the united states have no degree except for their High School Diploma(they were grandfathered in.) Those stats are from 2007.

Not only do the overwhelming majority of recruits picked up today hold college degrees, but they also must go through a 27 week long police academy which is usually worth 24-30 college units on top of whatever else they have.
So yes, at the very least, one who is aware of the facts cannot say cops lack education. However, we both know that this is something rebellious anti-police juveniles will always agree and emphasize on.

HAHAHAHA cause Poly sci sure is a hard degree... To make E7 in the army, you need at least an associets degree, and depeneding on how competetive your MOS is, you may even need one to make points just to get E5. Most E7s need a bachelores because the field is so competetive. Cops arent dumb, well some of them are, but not the majority, but just like any other profession, you get the dumb ones that make everyone look bad.
