I do believe that when he says the primary role of gvt is to protect liberty, that he's aware of the realities that in an all out anarchy, the individual is easily coerced by large organizations. Sorry to break it to you.. but Ron Paul is probably just an other puppet. Don't get me wrong! I like the puppet.. but democracy is an illusion. Even if he truly was there to make a change, he would just be snuffed out, like the ones like him before. The world is in a lot of danger.. and it's not going to be Ron Paul that will save us. You can defend him all you want, but don't put blind trust and faith in him.. he is a politician after all.

@sethm83 I am moving to a Caribbean Island . . . I am a Chef by trade, and going to the Southern Leeward Islands (Eastern Caribbean). They call it Paradise for a reason. Laid back attitude, beautiful weather, landscape, no large industrial capitalistic mechanical conglomerates, cleaner air, cleaner water, lots of nature all around, not too developed . . . small town atmosphere since the entire island nation is smaller than most US cities . . . not too shabby . . .

I find it impossible to believe that the Paul Cultists truly understand that he wants to put an end to virtually all federal government services, all federal government standards, federal government oversight... and most state services as well. The poor will have no access to education, medical services, unemployment benefits, workers comp... no laws against employment discrimination (for race, religion, disability, gender...).
