Ask her for $20-50 then buy some makeup, go home and be like "Mommy, look at the makeup I bought" and for sanitary reasons you can't return it. Lol this is what I did, and it worked out fine :) Good luck!

if you have loose mac eyeshadows and no mac empty pallete... don't spend money on the pallete, just fit them into an empty altoid bin:) it works out great!!!

Elle, are NYK lip glosses really sticky? I am weird about sticky lip glosses. Ive even found a lot of the high end ones are sticky. My fave ones right now are Cover Girl. @9soccerislife9 It's a cream-based pigment pot. Paint pots can either be used as eye shadow bases to intensify color, or they can be used on their own, considering they are already highly pigmented. Hope I helped! :)

I think I'll start wearing foundation in, like, junior year of high school or something like that. Instead of paint pots you can use the nyx jumbo eye pencils, I love mine in milk! They are only around $5, so they are way more practical than paint pots! (:

The ELF 4 color palettes hold MAC shadows perfectly! Its only about $1. Also, in place of the MAC paint pots, Maybelline has the new Color Tattoos are pretty much the exact same. Too Cool, Bad to the Bronze, and Tough as Taupe are the most neutral. And the Rimmel Stay Matte powder is amazing. IT's like $4 and has great coverage :)

The ELF 4 color palettes hold MAC shadows perfectly! Its only about $1. Also, in place of the MAC paint pots, Maybelline has the new Color Tattoos are pretty much the exact same. Too Cool, Bad to the Bronze, and Tough as Taupe are the most neutral. And the Rimmel Stay Matte powder is amazing. IT's like $4 and has great coverage :)

Maybelline Expert Wear Blush in Sweet Cinnamon has sadly been discontinued. Actually the whole line has been replaced by the Fit Me blushes.

i started with a concealer, lip gloss, mascara and eye shadow. it took some time for real liner, but i lined with dark shadows until i got one
