When are we going to see a damage model this dramatic in a game? I'm sick of going 100mph into a wall only have my bumper fall off. Some of the stuff by codemasters is amazing, but I want to be able truly wrap my car around a tree in a video game.

1- to many glichs

2- makes the game hard.. like SUPER Hrd....

@Roman8880 you dont have to believe everything you see in a movie. it wont explode or catch on fire by a bullet 'cept its an incendiary bullet (maybe not even from that). the gas itself NEVER catch on fire only its vapor(?) and if its closed it wont have the necessary o2-gas ratio (look for it yourself)and even if its sparkling it would not explode (maybe in some weird situations but i doubt that). in movies they use incendiary bombs (a real bomb leave no traces of the car behind)

@Roman8880 Bollocks. Cars can explode from a car crash, provided the collision hits the right area with the right amount of force. The fuel tank, for example, if pierced, can go up in flames.

@Roman8880 yep that is all holywood shit. ive been in one these facilities and seen a myriad of cars smash to where there is no engine left. The only way a car would ignite from collision is if the gas tank sprung a leak and there happened to be a spark. Which is very unlikely to happen all at once. So no, cars dont explode.

@SuperPenetration Depends. It can if a spark from the impact just so happens to ignite the gas fumes. Then the fumes can burn slow, until it evaporates the fluid itself to the engine, and it may not explode, but it will be a pretty gas fire. :D
