Lex Luger ... biggest ever "could-have-been". They tried to push the man to the moon and BEYOND, and he ended up being considered one of the biggest flops ever.
Why would someone criticize you for selecting a hogan moment as one of your favorite feel good moments? Hulk Hogan is one of the greatest draws in wrestling history! Watch some of his old vhs tapes, when he got hurt...people actually cried! Hulk has ruled wrestling for the last 30 years! People tend to hate greatness!

most memorable fan re-action I had was in 2007 with a WWE house show in canada, my incounter with Randy Ortan lol I told him off and flipped him off then later on in the main event with Randy and Cena well Cena was knocked out, outside of the ring Randy looked right at me with anger and abit of fear
@marquesteen Yes, that Global / Legends / What Ever meaningless title that Booker T just pulled out of thin air and has been held forever by no talents like Eric Young and Steroid Boy Terry means so much. That chick tag team title that is almost never defended and is only passed between the same 6 babes all the time really means a lot. The chick singles title that is handed back and forth with no logic based on goofy disqualifications and not mysterious run ins sure means plenty. TNA stinks.
Eddie Guerrero forever!! I think he would still be a HUGE success, not only was he a awesome, ON POINT performer but his wrestling and charisma in that ring with other great wrestlers like Benoit really make him stand out! .. Your right, your gonna get a lot of hate mail for that!
Biggest problem TNA has going for them is lack of advertising. You can't watch TNA without seeing some WWE commercial yet there is no TNA commercials during WWE programming, no huge billboards like WCW used to do, no real promotion of any kind other than what Spike hands them. If you're not getting the word spread there is no way possible to compete with the establishment. WCW advertised perfectly and TNA should follow their example.
@DJSixx TNA has tons of advertising, way more than ECW had on the same network, so that is not their main problem. TNA's main problem is that TNA has no identity and its marketing and branding are deeply flawed (starting with the dumb name TNA). TNA just lives in the past trying to recreate what WCW, WWF, and ECW did 15 years ago and using washed up, old, has beens who are well past their prime. The whole TNA business model was ass backwards from the day Jarrett started TNA.
TNA has issues, but when I get to my dvr, I always watch TNA first. I'm bored of the wwe roster. TNA has no story, but the wrestling is much more entertaining. And FLAIR is still so awesome at promos.

i don't think hogan coming to tna was an absolute flop. A lot of people watched it because of him but it wasn't as good as the hype like every thing in life.
Both companies are at opposite ends of the spectrum. WWE is too formulatic and constant, which comes off as boring and forgettable. TNA is too unpredictable and crazy which comes off as meaningless and bush league.
tna will probably never get out there slump me as a jeff hardy fan i belive that if tna gets cancelled i will never see jeff hardy and thats not good !
One guy Jeff overlooked who should have been a legend and blew it was Jake Roberts. Awesome gimmick, great talker, good pop whether he was heel or face. Really sad how drugs ruined him. As to TNA having low ratings the past few weeks-it's unfair to judge by the last few shows. Any real wrestling fan wasn't going to miss seeing Bret Hart's return and HBK's farewell. Now that those things are past, we'll see if Raw can maintain ratings.
Other wrestlers that I think could have gained legendary status in the WWE in the long term are: Jeff Hardy, Bobby Lashley, Muhammed Hassan, Brock Lesnar (eventhough you could argue that he swapped his WWE leagendary status for possible UFC leagendary status) and Umaga. Most of these guys for various different reasons could have attained leagendary WWE status in the long term if circumstances had not got in the way...
I was at an independent show years and years ago in I was like 11 or something, and we were yelling and the guy had the mic and looked over and pointed &said, "you better shut up there hillbilly," and when they were wrestling he took a clothesline and spit and almost hit me, crowd started laughing
At the end of the day it dont matter how much you brown nose, if the fans aint into you then you will never get over. HHH would have got over no matter what happened.
HHH was world champion and the top heel in WWF over a year before the first time he ever banged Stephanie. Hogan in TNA is a flop as I correctly predicted it would be. The Hogan act was old in 1990 and that was before his white trash family got over exposed too.

why is triple h one of the greatest ever? because of the 4 moves that he does? because of his bland personality? because of his terrible entertaining ability?
as a fan what was the best thing a wrestlers ever done to my friends. id like to throw my input on that, it was back early 2002 or 2003 dudleys vs la resistance
my friends made a french flag for la resistance and we had front row seats, anyways during the dudleys entrance i was near my friends and the dudleys grabbed the flag and i believe they blew their noses on it and threw it back in my friends face.
Hulk Hogan will and always suck. His lack of creativity, lack of imagination and lack of being a viable product is rearings its ugly head on TNA. Hogan is nothing without Vince
2000's-2010' Those Teenagers turn into adults, and have kids of their own.
WWE being PG isn't a bad thing, it can still be enjoyable. The product isnt as good as it was in the 90's. But its still better then what it was in 2002-2007.. So WWE has been improving.
also, anyone notice with TNA in the competition slot, that WWE is more entertaining?
@yoshigodxxx i know u left the comment a loooong time ago lol but you say wwe back in 2001-2003 was no good??? that was when when, well smackdown at least was in its prime! they had lesnar, the GOOD cena, better storylines, more divas, better matches, eddie (rip) benoit (rip) even the games were better! stephanie was even entertaining!! wwe has gotten worst since 2004. the kids nowadays need to c taker when he was the american bad ass. or when brock f-5'd big show or a bra and panties match etc
the best fan interaction I had was when I went to an indy show, (i forget which fed) but during intermission, the metal maniac was doing an autograph session and looked at me and my dad and said, "Come and get a autograph with the metal maniac you fat bastard" (he said that to my dad mind you. I was I think in my teens at the time.) the same night, I got by the ring and chanted ECW! ECW! all night and then met Jim Duggan.. (yeah kill me now)
haha ur Hulk thing about his matches is exactly the same as a john cena match i sat there bored at wrestlemania as u just knew he was gonna steal it at the end like he always does borrrrrrrrrrrrring!!!
do u think tna is like wcw i watched it today for the 1st time in agies and it reminded me a of old schoool wcw the ring entrance way and so on whats ur thoughts on that?
As far as the Austin/vince wm 17 they did drop the ball but Austin even said that it was a mistake for the 2 to ally because of the way things went down and people didn't want to hate him, so he wishes he just stunned vince afterward.
HHH knows who to be friends with, by getting close to HBK he got close to Vince, and by getting close to Stephanie he got closer to Vince. He brown noses and fucks the right people.
@DirtyPsycho69 u have a point. he was really the odd man out of the group compared to the clique.(hall, nash, waltman, sean) very smart thought to do that.
as far as bad satables go, what about x factor? (xpac, justin credible & albert) or when someone brings in a couple of new guys i.e kurt angle brought in shelton and charlie haas, or when edge had ryder and hawkins,
LMAO....... As a die-hard Hulkamaniac.... I was laughing at how Jeff couldn't come up with a Hulk Hogan match that he could watch over and over again..... not because I was mocking Jeff...... But because the first two matches that immediately came to my mind was Wrestlemania 6 and 18...... Both Hogan losses.......
mcintyre supposedly defended his title against a hometown hero when he qualified for money in the bank, other than that i think his last proper title defense was kane @ elimination chamber
Brilliant BRILLIANT moves made on smackdown. Stop pointing out WWE's flaws and look at their bright spots. CM Punk's role is genius, Jack Swagger throwing a huge wrench in the championship story telling was great, and Cryme Tyme finally being broken up is the best I've seen since they've come to WWE. Since they're getting rid of tag team wrestling, get rid of the real tag teams. I want to see Shad and JTG as real competitors, not raging stereotypes who lose year after year.
Damn you have a better point of view than I do, Agree with all you said there and never thought like that about cryme time. Cm Punk's character is genious and is my favourite wrestler, when he was a face I hated him.
Mr.Kennedy blew his shot IMO. Could have been huge when he was feuding with Undertaker then blew it with getting injured so much and then that Orton crap that got him fired. He still has a shot to be a legend though if TNA can get bigger. Him and Pope could carry the company.
TNA as a whole in my opinion will never be as big as WWE, and that is simply because WWE is such a big household name that people always come back to watch WWE. TNA as good as the talent is and as big as Hogan, Flair and Bischoff are they're simply old and are never gonna be as good as they were. As far as TNA's great talent any day of the week you could put talent against somone like Cena, and Cena would win everytime beacuse he applys to the youngters.
1. Randy Orton is currently "The Viper", but will always be "The Legend Killer". With that said, who are your top 5 "Legends Killed"? Meaning defeated in a match & either RKO'd or punted or relation to a story.
2. In your opinion what does R-Truth have to do to get a main event push (oh & would enjoy a R-Truth/Cena match turning Cena heel?)
Also, I will say this about HHH. He doesn't need the McMahons at all nor did ever need them. He was a WWE champion twice and going in his third when he was with Stephanie and that story line. He was also a two time I.C. before the story line. People are just stupid when they say that he needed the McMahons help.

Im a hogan fan myself and love alot of his matches but like Jeff there isnt one match I can watch over and over again, day after day or week after week. It gets old. His matches goes just like Jeff said, exactly how he said it. Im not a Cena fan but I would rather watch his matches over and over again than any Hogan matches. TNA right now is a big flop because of Hogan. He still draws crowds because he is Hulk Hogan. But the Hogan of past is not the Hogan of today - Wrestling wise that is.
I completely agree with nodqcaw that Hulk Hogan gimmick is too old and is too predictable. Before Hulk grabs the mic you already know what he's going to say "Brother". That brother gimmick becomes annoying after a while. Saying it one's or twice in one night is fine but saying it like 12 times or more in one night is just annoying then in top of that you got that asshole abyss saying it too.
He mentions Tammy Sytch 11 months ago (when this video was uploaded) not becoming a legend, and she is now being inducted in the Hall of Fame.

Outside interference by Sensational Sherri, nearly causing a DQ, but the ref orders her back to the dressing room - and continues the match!
The crowd was jacked, Virgil wins, takes the Million Dollar Championship, and "frees himself" from the Million Dollar Man
One of the best!

Hulk Hogan will and always suck. His lack of creativity, lack of imagination and lack of being a viable product is rearings its ugly head on TNA. Hogan is nothing without Vince

Now for WWE. People gotta remember its 2010.
its like a pattern of life.
80's Kids
90's Teenagers

I'm sure there is a hidden meaning to that LOL...

Hey man I don't like the background... You should continue to do the shows outside in parks and what not. The background just looks cheap and cheesy.

I want to see Shad and JTG as real competitors, not raging stereotypes who lose year after year.
bman32x 1 year ago

@ nodqcaw 2 questions:

RGBcrazy 1 year ago
I completely agree with nodqcaw that Hulk Hogan gimmick is too old and is too predictable. Before Hulk grabs the mic you already know what he's going to say "Brother". That brother gimmick becomes annoying after a while. Saying it one's or twice in one night is fine but saying it like 12 times or more in one night is just annoying then in top of that you got that asshole abyss saying it too.
