Thank you for posting, particularly as this is the faster 'L'alba' version that was cut from at least half the DVD editions. So catchy, yet such a weird vibe! Creative as hell (which i heard has no more room)

While I liked the remake I must agree with you, the original just had this eerie feeling of a world slowly falling apart, unlike the BANG end of the world aproach of the remake.

Romero's zombies are like a lava flow, slow, unstoppable, and utterly devistating.

Like being slowly crushed to death, the Romero zombie is far more terrifiying than the "new" blitzkreig style ghoul.

Goblin's music captures that suffocating feeling so well.
