I can tell you what is different between OMJM and OM28JM

OM28JM is 100% Engelman spruce If you go to check martin homepage You see that OMJM is not 100% Engelman spruce but it makes sound more balanced base and warm but OM28JM is little unbalanced sound that make hard sound

I tried OM28JM lastyear in guitarcenter It wasn't good value for that much price If you're not collecter you don't really need this guitar because It's not that much different OMJM and It's just because john's name value

@FreaquedeMusique This was a limited run model at the beginning of his career with only 404 made. They're slightly more decorated with the inlay at the 12th and on the bridge and headstock.

1. Which do you need more? An acoustic or an electric?

2. Which ever you can get for a better deal....If you decide you bought the wrong one, you can always sell it for higher than you paid....if you got a deal.
