It's almost close to impossible to hard launch this car. I have a video from inside of him dropping the brake at 3000rpm and the wheels still don't spin. It's got to be a torque cut or something at launch.
And yeah I heard about that butterfly valve open thing. He (and I too) prefers it because it sounds much better at low revs than high for some reason.
yea i was looking for a hard launch after u said "make sure the DSC is off" (i think its ASC in bimmers btw) and then a 1-2 shift but that never came.
O btw i think there is way to make that valve in the exhaust stay open all the time its a cheap and very easy mod and he should at least try it to see if he likes it better that way or not.
