Man, read The Chocolate War over a decade ago, but it's still my favorite book. Unlike a lot of the books that we read in English class, this was very relatable to me. I love Robert Cormier's novel, a sort of American response to British "The Lord of Flies". As I can tell from the trailer, the movie is really faithful to the book. I must watch it!

it is the actual movie. I just read the book as well and we got to watch the movie. It is really good. The only thing you might not like is the ending of the movie since they changed it.

the ending didn't stay true the book, i know they wanted the whole victim came out on top kind of ending and everyone wanted to see jerry win, but that's not what happend so they shouldn't of changed it! it screwed it up.

I really liked the movie. i went to a CAtholic HS with many Catholic Brothers in teaching positions so I could relate. Except we sold mag subscriptions.
