  • a race to 100mph...weak...everytime i rave a civic ..even 11 second ones na or turbo...they never beat me..after about 150mph they fall flat..and im sure its not the driver letting off because we swapped drivers and i was not able to take the other cars after 150 -160+...lame..Thats why i will always run a k20 swapped car cuz i have yet to see a stop swap hit over 210mph

  • camaro866 it looks like it's just a 5th gen hatch with a integra gsr motor built to handle boost on 9psi. I'd guess making some where around 300-400hp. Honda's can win races cause they are light. power to weight ratio is our best freind. to tell you the truth I'd rather spend less money and go faster in my honda then drop double the money and get something like an evo or a Z. I just enjoy going fast, I rly don't care if ppl hate on me cause of my civic. they'll laugh and I'll smoke em

  • One thing I notice about these "races" the are always done from roll never from a dig. ooo wait there is more civic was a full race built against a Basic Bolt On Evo with a tune. Civics still suck Put that Civic against the APC, AMS or the Buschsur race built EVO's without NOS. They are putting HP number's that equal the weight of the civic. Mitsu owns all, get over it and if you dont believe me check out Brent Rau Eclipse. No Honda street engine can handle that much power!

  • @yresistme yup motor's built but stock 4 stock don't the Evo have way more power ? its only fair the Honda does some building ! and u know Honda is High compression so he needs several mods 2 lower it if he wants to boost it, and still he's running a street tune just 9 psi against a twin turbo v6 and an Evo which is running 22psi, yes evo isnt built as much but hey that's 22 psi with bolt ons so its kinda even, retune the evo 2 30 psi u said, imagine if the honda cranks it to 25 or more psi ?

  • @TheMugenboy its a BUILT civic with a FULL RACE TURBO KIT. the heaviest 92-95 hatch weighed 2390lbs. avg evo weighs 3260lbs. thats a 870LBS difference!!! yes the evo is running 22psi (which is only 2psi over stock) but its on a FACTORY 16g turbo vs a FULL RACE 61mm which is rated @ 680hp when boosted properly. not 2 mention he still has in his catalyst converter which means even with the CBE n DP hes only seeing about 10-12hp over stock. wut else do u guys want 2 make it a "fair" race...?

  • Its a bolt in engine you dont even need to change mounts lol, pluse 9 psi is a very average low number even for stock if your in to honda tuneing at all you have seen little 1.6 liter ZC engines on 15psi stock internals STOCK engine hitting high 11's. I dont have to think about the swaps seeing as iv done over 10.

  • Nice runs, but the race wasn't even. Evo had a few mods bolt-ons, and the Civic had a swap, then turbo kit now how is that fair? I can speak from knowledge I have a Civic Coupe that ran 13.4 with a boosted B-16 on 9psi. Now I have a Evo 9 with minimal mods (Intercooler and Cat-back exhaust) and it is just as quick. Now there is a big price difference between the two. Obviously the Civic was a lot cheaper, but it also took a lot more work just to get it to the level it is at.

  • that's a wellbuilt eg. clean and fast. since it's a GSR im guessing it's a B18 and turbo'd as mentioned. that can smoke anything 2 times its weight. assuming that it's stripped. a turbo'd B18 boosted to 9PSI will hang with a VQ35dett, when tuned right. there must've been insane money poured into that rebuild.
