  • Without getting flamed, can I ask why everyone gets so mad at the people in this video? This happened int he 70s, before everyone knows gorillas are nice. Hell it was THIS "event" that brought that fact to light.

I'm just really confused why everyone is hating on the humans for something they didn't know, and even if they did would still be extremely fearful for the child's life.

  • Most funny thing I've seen today. Gorilla's aren't violent creatures and besides that they're totally vegetarian.

  • Did the man say "the beasts"?!?! excuse me, only one side here consists of beasts...

The gorilla is no animal, he is a person

  • i love how they refer to the gorillas as "beasts" when they obviously cared about the boy.

i doubt the gorilla would have let the kid fall over the wall...

  • if i fell down at 12 feet and smash my face into the cement floor and wacke up to see a goeilla rubbing my back i would shit myself and the smell would have skared the gorillas away ha ha

  • i once fell into a gorilla cage... until i took an arrow to the knee

  • @DWADEnLeBRON you're not funny

  • @ge2298 woah tough guy please don't hurt me through your computer screen. let me guess your an mma fighter and a black belt in karate!! ahhhh help me someone!!

  • He didn't see the little boy as a threat and obviously realized he was hurt so of course he is going to protect him just like he would with one of his own.

  • Apparently the Gorilla shows more concern than the Parents...maybe the Gorilla should get custody of that kid.

  • Well for those who think zoos are terrible and we're vicious for locking them up, well "locking them up" saves them from worse fates and prevents extinction

  • It's amazing how compassionate a gorilla can be to a different species but humans themselves treat each other like we would think animals do...

  • how scared shitless do you have to be pick up a stick so the gorillas dont KILL you. like his dick is so limp he sees something resembling having balls n has to grab it out of subconcious yah thisll work

  • @roleplayingnoob idk what ur asking, but heres a pretty good answer. weed.

  • @mrcrunchyapplepops the gorilla wasnt going to kill the humans, that's just how animal planet wanted it to look like, the gorilla was actually being gentle with the boy

  • that one rescue guy picks up a stick for good measure. YEAH, that'll work on GORILLAS.

  • Im thinking about going on that cruise

  • amazing these animals are better then most human arabs

  • @200nikesdeep lol racist but.. humans are animals

  • @ge2298 arabs are pigs and dogs on 2 feet these gorillas have much more human feelings then arabs

  • Baby:Get your stinking paws off me you damn dirty ape

    Gorilla: NOOOOooOOOO!

    Baby: O.O

  • @nepalirabbi haha is funny u said that because the gorilla was being gentle and humble, and btw humans are apes so you can't just say that. gorillas dont have paws they have hands :P learn about what u hate on. gorillas are smarter than stupid ass dogs and cats.

  • JUST A FEW BRUISES?!?! HE BROKE HIS ARM AND FRACTURED HIS SKULL!!!

  • stupid kid

  • Michelle Obama is that you?

  • scares the beast away??? fuck u, he left because he knew the boy was scared and he wanted the humans to come get him

  • @MrPersia23 yup, i totally agree with you, the voice over guy was trying to make it look like that the gorillas were violent

  • He had a fractured skull and broken arm, hardly ok

  • this story is amazing..

  • @kuck3001 two words NOAHS ARK that was found and it was in the bible prove given

  • It really makes me mad when people call apes/gorillas/monkeys "beasts" or "animals" because their genes are about 95% human...

  • @hobofam And pigs and mice share 85%+ of Human DNA, does that makes them more human. Not really

  • @TheGIantR do pigs/mice have thumbs, human features, facial features that are almost identical to a human?

  • @hobofam It's the other way about.

  • @hobofam i agree and arent humans part of the hominidae family too?

  • good for the kid.. he smells like a gorilla..

  • Everyone thinks gorillas are vicious animals... If anything, WE as humans are... Gorillas are vegetarians and won't hurt anything unless it is threatened... And even then, it solves/settles the dispute fast...

  • lucky it was not the lion enclosure =O

  • @NekojinAmako I like all these videos where mothers nurse other species' young and everyone's like "Ooh the tiger thinks the piglets are tiger cubs!" They don't, they see them as defenseless young that need help.

  • I highly doubt that the gorillas thought that this kid, was a baby gorilla.

These are not beasts that are living within this enclosure.

Yes, if they are threatened, they will attack. So would a human being.

But the gorilla clearly didn't see this child as a threat, considering he was injured, and unconscious. So it stood guard, to make sure that the others didn't get too close.

    Don't underestimate their intelligence.

  • ''The beasts run away''. Yeah, creatures showing concern towards a different species can be classified as ''beasts'', right?

I would bet my house that half of those Gorillas will score a higher spatial IQ than this degenerate.

  • What probaly happend was the todaler shat himself when he fell... so the gorrilas though the little kid was a baby gorrila -.-

  • @scorpion1a2 that's not funny, gorillas only smell bad in there because they don't get taken care of well. while humans are fucking spoiled bitches.

  • TARZAN

  • Man, as much as it hurts, zoos are a necessary evil, at least for the time being. So long humans do not respect other species, zoos present a hope for keeping these species alive. Once we fully achieve conscience, then the zoos will turn into respectful, well-regulated ecotourism. Of course, all of this once we learn, understand, respect & appreciate every other animal, besides Homo Sapiens (if it's true that we do such thing...)

  • psh. Parents need to fuckin watch their kids. I don't care if there was a gate, kids are gonna do stupid shit like climb over it and fall in a gorilla cage. The parents are responsible. Lets thank god it was a gorilla cage and not a tiger cage.

  • @meaninghasnomeaning I bet if you loked at the security camera it went something like this Kid:daddy daddy whats that Dad:thats a bird Kid:daddy daddy whats that? Dad:thats the same bird Kid:daddy da.... Dad: *slaps kid*Shut the hell up Kid:*falls* Dad:Oh shit... oh no my kid fell in oh he's so clumbsy
  • This voice over guy pisses me off. The most dangerous thing for the boy in this video was the fall. Gorillas know what an infant is, they aren't stupid.

  • @mastervenneck i agree, and it pissed me off how he calls them "the beasts" the gorilla was obviously protecting the human child.

  • this is in Jersey, channel islands, south of britain near france (they speak english there) I know this cuz I live on Guernsey a smaller island right next to jersey, this happened in Durrell wildlife park (they help breed endangered animals) and they have a you tube account: DURRELL

  • fuck humans

  • You're more likely to be bitten by your cat than be attacked by a gorilla.

  • yabos touch goes from terrifying to tender i'm curious wats so terrifying about it a 400 pound gorilla stretching its hand out to a little boy, is it me or do commentators say the stupidest of stuff at the worst of moments :|

  • @RECKOGNING1 American TV tends to dramatise everything.

  • @deesies yeah all commentators do that i hate it

  • @deesies lol that's soo true

  • @RECKOGNING1 Jambos*

  • Stupidass people doing stupidass stuff. Its nowhere near the gorillas fault, and the commentator kept making the gorilla sound like a brutal murderer.

  • Aaww, I was kinda hoping for a Tarzan moment.

Alas Phil Collins was nowhere to be seen...

  • Stupid fucking kid. Should have left him in there to die. Need moar Darwinism!

  • @TokyoFreeze79 the gorilla wasnt going to kill the kid that's just how the voice over wanted to make it look like, it's pathetic how you fell for animal planet's bullshit

  • Stupid kid stay still play day and start to cry -_- I would be shaking and try to cry silently but new it a child but really :I

  • Dat Ass.

  • This makes me wanna cry =( So touching...

  • Hahaa stupid little kid. I like the gorillas tho. Very cute :)

  • Gorillas are actually nice if you don't get rude or anything... They are just like a mother and father they will take care of whatever is in their way.. Except the enimes... But people own apes and the owners don't die they aren't beasts they are HUMANS

  • I hate that people automatically assume that the gorillas will kill him. Yeah, they COULD but so could a bystander. If we say that primates are more like humans than any other animal living on earth than we should realize that they, too, have the ability to judge right from wrong. I hate people that "assume". Stop "assuming" and start "knowing".

  • @SetSail4Mars This happened at a time when people didn't know this about gorillas. That and even if they did know seeing a kid fall into the enclosure WILL scare people. Don't be so hard on them for something that would scare ANYONE.

  • @TerryB01 I can imagine that it's scare you to have a kid down there. But yesterday was one of "those" days when the whole human race just annoyed the fuck out of me.

  • @SetSail4Mars I've had those days. Had one the other day when on "The View" they talked aobut that guy who had his dick cut off and put in a blender. Made me feel the exact same way you did but only for the people who laughed at it. Fucking pricks.

  • @TerryB01 And it mainly annoyed me because the "beast" reference was at the END of the video when the gorilla had ALREADY left the kid alone. It's like when you're fighting with someone, you don't say rude things to them AFTER the fight is over and done with, you know?

  • @SetSail4Mars Humans are primates.

  • @JordoF6 Shut. The. Fuck. Up. People who go around on YouTube bringing up the slightest little shit because ONE thing isn't politically correct are really fuckin' stupid.

  • @SetSail4Mars Wow mate no need to be fucking arsehole.

  • This one of my most favorite stories because it shows how gorillas really are.

That they are not monsters, that they are gentle, kind and smart.

Gorillas are also my favorite ape.

  • @tyranttiger

But sadly in Africa they still kill them for their meat

  • @bunnyrabbit008

of all the things you could eat even if you live in Africa,

why would you want to eat gorilla? I guess people have eaten stranger things.

  • @tyranttiger

    Yeah. I agree

  • Comment removed

  • lol but really the gorrilas arent gonna do anything. always thinking they gonna attack or something. smfhh they dont even care. they just wana know why the hell tht baby was there lol

  • yombo:who da hell is dis niggaa?... bitch im out

  • "medics" you mean that fat fuck in the white?

  • 2:26 the gorilla looks around like "Uh, I didn't do it!"

  • stupid kid!

  • I love gorillas.

  • what terrifying are the song

  • they're passive and vegetarian the child was in no danger. Why cant they portray it as something great, instead of terrifying?!

  • the beast! really?!

  • Why would people think that gorillas are dangerous creatures, they are our relatives, our ancestors. they brought us on this planet. And juss becuz its an animal doesn't mean its gonna hurt us in anyway. I remember this on CNN and the lady said the gorilla was trying to bring Levan back up to his parents. And the very next day after the accident the zookeepers had put the poor old gorilla down. And that's what Levan gets for being a dumbass!!!

  • @Way2manyraces shut up you asshole they dident bring us to earth god did they can be dangreous they cold thing you food and eat you you dont now any thing a bout the wiled

  • @kuck3001 Spoken like a true ignorant religious fool. Congratulations. You fail.

  • @kuck3001 There is no god. You hold the burden of proof. Millions of people have been trying to prove that the Bible is reliable for that last 2,000 years. Please provide reasonable evidence for your god. (You will be the first person in the world to do so.)

  • @kuck3001 #1. Learn English. #2 Realize that YOU, sir/mam don't know anything of the wild, or know how to spell it. #3. Bring me proof that your "based god" really exists. The Bible? What?! You mean that book that has been translated through so many languages that the words might be mixed up. Some story of how someone was saved because they were being watched by "god"? There's a thing called luck my friend. Anything and everything is debatable.

  • @KittyLsdButterfly "The Bible? What?! You mean that book that has been translated through so many languages that the words might be mixed up"

the old testament is translated from Aramaic and Hebrew to target language, the new testament is translated from Greek to target language. So your argument for disputing Bible is wrong. Think of something better.

  • @pantel031 i dont wanna start an arguent with you but you should know theres several stories of virgin born sons doing all the miracles jesus did based hundreds of years before christ. christ n all that could be real but the story was stolen. christmas and the cross are traditions stolen by constantine from the scandanavians when he converted to christianity

  • I remember seeing this on CNN

  • interesting the boy is crying and the gorilla looks around and thinks "oh i think the mother comes!!!" xD

  • "..beast away.." Whatta wanker u gotta be to write shit like that on this.

  • narrator is a twaaaaaaat

  • yeah, Gorillas are actually gentle. It's the Chimpanzees that are highly aggressive.

  • Narrator = Drama queen

  • Gorillas love kids. I went to Jersey when I was little.

  • Gorillas have an unfair reputation.

    It's chimpanzees that are evil.

  • gorilla: wtfs this

    kid: doesn't move

gorilla: got better things to do *leaves*

  • @RECKOGNING1 That didn't happen.

  • @razvaz did u watch all of it?

  • @RECKOGNING1 I thought you were saying the gorilla left because the kid wasn't moving, nevermind.

  • Parents WTF??? you're lucky that this story end like this!

  • bad parenting @ its best

  • two gorillas preferably

  • holy shit that is sweet my next vid is gonna be animals fighting

  • i bet he was in safer hands in there

  • i thin humans are more savage than the gorillas i bet if a kid fell into a pit of all adults 4 out of 10 of them would want to molest him/her

  • @237cupcake thats just you bro

  • @237cupcake And Gorillas are actually gentle.

  • He is a great gorilla. He showed true love and concern for that baby. The people yelling is what probably scared the gorilla.

  • "Scares the beasts away". "Beasts"? Seems to me that enclosing and caging these "beasts" for conservation and enjoyment is far more beastly than such magnificent animals could ever be! If we stop destroying their natural habitat and poaching them, then this would never happen. We consider ourselves the dominant species, but it does not give us the right to do whatever we like to nature and all living things. Turn on the news these days and its clear it's humans that are "beasts" not vice versa.

  • @ThegentlemanofNY yeah. with all the idiots running around, it wont be easy saving the gorrila.

  • @ThegentlemanofNY yeah we are halfway to extermination

  • @ThegentlemanofNY hippie

  • @ThegentlemanofNY ROFLMAO GO BACK TO PETA HEADQUARTERS FAGGOT.

  • @ThegentlemanofNY Well said.

  • @ThegentlemanofNY

Wait a minute... Conservation is bad?

  • @ThegentlemanofNY Calling our own species beasts is just bullshit, they're not locked up.

They are in there to breed in peace, having people watch them everyday is to make sure the people breeding them have the money to feed and care for them, so fuck off and stop buying the propaganda.

  • @ThegentlemanofNY

I bet you were the Samsonite gorilla.

  • @ThegentlemanofNY Well stated. I absolutely agree.

  • gorillas have empathy much like humans

  • how can the narrator call him a beast?

  • @NickjaBoysInc exactly right

  • And who thought the idea "playing dead" would ever work in any situation? If you play dead, animals will think your subdued and they'll eat you. Hyenas eat animals regardless, them and lions will eat you alive as well. Just dont panic, not "play dead"

  • Ignorant people should now understand that gorrilas aren't randomly aggresive. They only attack if you bug them like most animals. Chimpanzee's are the dangerous ones, very advocating and territorial. There was one case where a child fell in, and a mother gorilla picked it up and brought it too the door waiting for a person to take it. Thats understanding and distinction. It should be illegal to hunt these gentle animals.

  • @hotwhire it is illegal.

  • animal planet seems surprised that a 400 pound male gorilla wouldn't feel threatened by an injured toddler

  • "...forcing them to over power Yombo." You really think they can over power a male gorilla? This is Europe, they don't have guns.

  • They sent in an overweight security guard who could barely land on his own feet.... LOL

  • I saw this on untamed and uncut. I loved the part where the two younger gorillas went to go look at the boy but Mambo or whatever the big one's name is got inbetween them and him. Fucking touching.

  • parenting:fail

  • dumb child. the sad part is they would usually shoot the gorilla for human retardation.

  • @vespers119 Dumb child? really do you think he fell in there on purpose? people like you are retarded. and the gorilla didnt even do anything.

  • Did animal planet say WTF?

  • @3VERSONxxx lol, it's Weird True and Freaky, although I think that coincidence was on purpose

  • @3VERSONxxx its Weird True Freaky :D

  • This should cause a christian fucktard to maybe momentarily open his mind in regard to the issue of evolution. I don't know why some folks can't see or refuse to see the fact that Adam&Eve in the enchanted forest with the talking snake is just a fairytale. I don't think it was ever meant to be presented as fact even when it was made up 25 or so hundred years ago!

  • @somethingdiffereable oh people believe that? i thought it was a childrens thing like santa

  • @MrBadApple999 It is kinda like santa but designed more for adults. It takes a lot of consistant systematic brainwashing but there are tons of these folks world-wide. They call themselves creationists or intelligent design enthusiasts.

  • gorilla just touch appropriately the kid XD

  • Gorilla are not"beasts" they are very gentle and caring. They are one of the most compassionate animals. That gorilla would never harm that boy.

  • Sad to see that those "beasts" show more compassion for us than we do for them.

  • I saw another video where a different kid fell into a gorilla pit and a female gorilla approached the unconscious child and held it until the zoo keepers came.

  • @SanFranGirl1982 I was actually looking for that video. :p Do you happen to know what video that is?

  • @MandyFilet I think I actually saw it on TV some years ago. Dunno if its on youtube or not.

  • they told the kid to stop whining and stay still... 5 seconds later; WIIIIIHIHHHHHHHHH! WAAAAAHIIIIIIUUUH! WAAIIIIIIHUUUUWAHHHHUUUAIIIIH!WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! AHHH AHHH! AHHH, AHHHHHHHHH! WUH, WAHHH! The stupid boy is either trying to die or doing this to be a troll to his elders! >:c stupid fucking kid, he can suck dick!

  • @Rangersequoia he's a fuckin kid......get a life....its not his fault, he got scared which made him cry.....you probably cry if you were him or maybe even yell and start running away dumbass

  • @Rangersequoia fuck u. he's only a toddler.

  • The WTF stands for weird, true, freaky. but it just looks like what the F***

  • stupid dad

  • i would have been like "wtf!!" damn im in plant of the apes or somthin???

  • i searched for "friendly gorilla" after watching two and half men. walden's brother is a gorilla.

  • FFS STOP MAKING PUNS YOU ASSHOLES! WHAT IS WRONG ANIMAL PLANET?!

  • Thank God those weren't Chimpanzees

  • @JasperSystems or Monkey's

  • @JasperSystems why?? if it were chimpanzees, would they of attacked?? are they very agressive??

  • @marsvinlove1004 Most likely, Chimps are very aggressive. especially to things they do not know

  • white ppl r real stupid, its not even an joke

  • @cartro25 ? There are a lot of stupid people in the world, be them black white asian, what ever, skin colour has nothing to do with it.

  • @Baldyjim90 ok true 2 ur comment, but if this was... lets say an black kid... u and i know 4 sure this page would be an non stop racist comments from white ppl and there would be no 1 answering them back (like its ok what there r doing). im i right or wrong?

  • Ahh i am glad the little boy is ok! x

  • they kinda left out the part where a different gorilla tried to attack the three guys who came in after. Didn't look good for the episode I guess...

anyway, there's a full video on youtube, about 9 minutes, check it out,,,

  • nice job dad. you help your kids climb up at the alligator pen also?

  • Comment removed

  • stupid cunt

  • Jersey: A dream holiday destination? Does not compute.

  • the narrator talks like as if the gorilla was some kind of monster who's about to eat the kid but that gorilla is acting more civilized than most people...

  • I think its funny how some people think of wild animals as soft cuddly teddy bears, It would be crazy for anyone to believe a primate would tear a child apart, thats never happened in the past lol. Newsflash primates have and are capable of tearing a man apart. So go do some research about what primates have done in the past and youll see what they are capable of instead of coming on here bashing animal planet...
