The anime ended with an alternate ending to the manga..whitch was basicly a canceletion of it. really what should of happend was Arclight goes berserk and blows up in a massive blast scattering all of cruzes friends and he has to team up with mio to look for them. and gets into hi-jinks like being smuggled into the school where setsuna and sucanachi are dressed as a girl among other things
