Inspiring. I grew up playing hockey and am just getting back into skating. I tried a bit of slalom over the last couple days, but wow, I don't think I could learn that much in a month. I am a very strong skater, it's like second nature, but those pivots are are a mindfck for me. I'm about to pick up a pair of Sebas and get serious! Cheers.

might sound stupid but ive been wanting to know but what does it mean to get ur skates rockered?

@jmasterj11 This means that my wheels are forming a "rocker" shape like the bottom of a rocking chair. To accomplish this my front and back wheels are smaller then the middle two. My skates right now I believe are 76-80-80-76, which means that usually only two wheels from each skate are touching the ground.  This makes it much easy to turn on a dime!

@Yesiilikedrumso0 This was a month after I had taken up slalom skating, I have been inline skating off and on for years now. If you're a pure inline novice I would first be sure that you feel safe enough skating around (turning, braking, staying upright) before trying any slalom stuff. KEEP YOU KNEES BENT! :) That being said it you're ready to plunge head first into slalom start by doing moving your feet out from your body and back in while moving, and slowly work to into crisscrossing.

@Yesiilikedrumso0 well first off always expect to fall so when i happens its not that big of a deal. second! repetition is the only way you will learn anything so dont get too frustrated if you cant do something the first or second time. (ive been skating for 10 years and belive me it took me forever to learn the tricks i know,so as long as u STICK WITH IT!!! you should be just fine) =) good luck!

Thats good!!!! and wearing safety gear is smart.... for all the ones that commented that he is on a flat or going slow.... stand still, fall backwards and land on your head....safety gear saves your body.....from alot of hurt.... I usually speed skate, but am learning free style... this is a great video!!!
