Peter was "a" voice in Chicago, not "the" voice in Chicago. I think it's fair to say that there were three main voices that made that group, BUT, one is dead (Kath), one is solo (Cetera) and one is still with the group (Lamm). The irony for this great band is that there are four original players still with the group, but three are horn players that don't sing. So, the trademark brass sound of Chicago is still killer...but vocals are not quite there.

I just saw him in concert this past weekend in Easton, PA. He was incredible; sang this song better than shown here....Kim still with him; she's excellent....Peter hit and held all his notes. I'll go with that. Of course, alot of times when entertainers are doing a song live, they tend to ham it up a bit. I don't know why they do that, I think alot of that is just for show. (That's always been a pet peave of mine). When people pay good money for (expensive) tickets, the least thing an entertainer can do is sing it as close to the mark as they can without hammin it up too much.
