@Shootthemoondown Thank you. This was an experiment of sorts to see if I could bring more "acoustic elements" into the Sound of Seventy Three mix and I am fairly satisfied with the results which means there may be an EP or a whole album to come. Thanks again for listening and commenting! :)
@soundofseventythree You did a great job! :) I see that you like music a LOT which I do to but your very creative! If you havent heard of nanoloop or lsdj you should check them out. Seems like something you could do. your so talented!
@captaindunstable Thank you my friend! I've found the Guilele very inspiring, fun, and also easy to tote around to just pick up and play whenever and wherever. You should definitely check it out and it's only $100.00!
Nice.... that is incredibly relaxing... I noticed the MPK Mini in there.... Are you liking it as an interface? I've been debating getting one since I've got FL studio on my computer....One of these days I think I'm going to have to break down and get a Macbook Pro!
@rayray2012 Thanks Cory! I do like the MPK Mini as its everything I need for MIDI performance in one controller. I've designed my new studio setup around the bag that you can get for the MPK Mini to keep things simple and compact. The idea is to fit everything into that bag (more or less and excluding instruments). So there is the MPK, the Apogee One, the nanoKONTROL 2, a set of headphones and a laptop and you have a professional portable laptop studio. I may do a separate video about it.
@soundofseventythree Nice.... I've been using my ipod touch and akai synthstation25 alot for recording lately, though, of course, you don't get the same kind of complexity you can get with an actual computer studio! It is good for working out some ideas you can expand on the computer though... most of the programs I use also allow you to export midi data, so you can transfer it into whatever program you may be using.
@rayray2012 Very cool... Generally speaking I use MIDI to "fill out" a track unless its a remix. So any app or DAW I use must have a way to record audio. I've been messing around with GarageBand for the iPad and that is very quick and easy to use as a sketchpad. The MPK actually works with it for MIDI input! I bought Ableton Live to replace GarageBand but so far I am not in love with it. I have not been really inspired by it yet and so this song was recorded in GarageBand. Logic maybe?
@TheSilenceOfAWhisper I like it very much! Its compact and it has several ways to input MIDI data as well as a sustain button. If you will notice I sit on the floor so a sustain pedal does not work so well for me. :)
@TheSilenceOfAWhisper If you need portability and small keys don't bother you check it out for sure. Plus its very affordable. Good luck on your new project! With my new additions to my studio I think I may be ready to get back to making some music and videos again!
Been quite some time till your last video! I am checkin' your channel from time to time, you make amazing music and Summer Soft is no exception! Beautiful work, smooth sounding guitars and bass! And your new cam seems very cool!
@manolismoumouzias I know you are right! But I hope that I will be uploading many new videos in the remaining months of the year. Thank you for watching!
@qforit Thanks my friend. I am not on sound cloud. Can't quite figure it out, why I would use it. Could you tell me what you like about the service? I know a lot of musicians are using it so I would love to hear what you like about it. Thanks!
@soundofseventythree well i can't be bothered making videos for all my songs so i tell people to go on sound cloud and they can listen, comment and download your music if you want. its good to get more recognised. people can follow you and then it builds up and theres record companies on there too so y'know.
This joint is nice...hope the download is still working...Thanks.
