You can't fake that kind of passion and emotion. Sure, Bono is a bit hoarse. They'd been on tour for the better part of a year when they did this. So you have to forgive that. What his voice lacked that day, you could see in his passion of his performance.

This performance set the standard for all future half time shows.

On this day...U2 was asked to do the incredible. And they NAILED it.
