I'm curious to see how this bird has progressed since you made this video. Is he a lot more affectionate now? I've had a female cockatiel for about 4 months now and she does not allow me to pet her. She's totally finger tame, but does not like being pet or stroked with my fingers at all.
thats actually a really old video .. check out my channel even thoe I didint post a new video in a while you can get the idea by watching my other videos
Amazingly, almost miraculously, my bird let me scratch her head and give her some affection for the very first time shortly after I posted my message to you. She was sitting on the back of the chair right behind me and I reached back with my finger. Normally, she'd make an annoyed little screech and bite at my finger, but this time, she just gave a very gentle touch with her closed beak, then lowered her head! I couldn't believe it! I was able to repeat this two or three times thereafter.
i once had 1 cockatiel and then i felt the need to find him a friend so i bought another one, but the new bird would not let anyone pet him, but he would play and sit on my shoulder and do the normal things they do, but i always wonder what his deal was lol...
i have 2 parrots and they are soo rude i just try to tuch them wen they are in there cage and they try to bite me do u know how to stop the biting i cant eve take them out of there cage yet they are 2 yearz old i have a female and a male but idk wat kind they are do u think u kan help me??
Haha me andmy cockatiel have a love hate relationship, if i touched him on the head he would rip my hand off, but when hes in a good mood i rub my nose on the back of his mowhawk, and kiss him, he also jumps on my shoulder... wierd hey?
im kinda having the same thing with my female .. she doesnt want me to bug her when shes in the cage .. but she is always up for snugguling in my hand and getting a head rub when shes outside ..even just on top of the cage
my bird is named mona cause of her mohawk and the fact that she goes EEE...EEE... every time i play piano. i petted her while i was hand feeding her and she was like OMG!... oh wait its you.
YAAAAAAAAY my bird let me give her some seed pops today and she didnt attempt to violently rip my finger off! nah im just kidding this is the 4th day ive had her and she let me hand feed her seed pops today... a big improvement
oh letting it out it's cage is a great idea. My cockatiel's cage is outside right now. And i forgot to close her door. And now she is on a vine. -.- I hope she doesn't fly away.
so whatu dont seam to know anything since u said that..FYI your videos suck and u say mine is dumb ..wow your real mature .. don't forget im rolling my eyes
