  • loved all three videos! thank you You are a great instructor! the pom looks great! Love that you didnt shave her down! :)

  • Great video!! U explain it so good!!

I dont know if anyone asked this question, but what kind scissors are you using?

What does "the little on" do?

  • Ggreat video! Are the thinning shears single or double-blade?

I already trim my own Pom but will do a bit more after watching this video

  • this will be very helpful when i get a pomeranian of my own! thank you.

  • hello..

it's a very cute and fluffy pom.. :)

I have a pom too, her age is 8month

she have a double coat in her body, but only her back doesn't have it.. do you know why? or it's normal?

because i think she can't have a round body shape because of it :(

  • Enjoyed all three Pom videos. Clear and simple instructions. Nice to see someone leaving the full coat and not shaving them down.

  • Are all poms this obedient? Thanx for this tutorial I'm getting a pom in two days. I'm trying to get all the info on everything on them to be ready. =) I'm so excited.

  • That was great! The thinning shears was a very helpful tip, let alone your combing technique. Thanks so much for posting!

  • i want one pom like a taffy x3

  • I want a pomeranian

  • Good gonna try it on my pomeranian..:) shes name is angel..<3

  • Great for starters who cant afford the groomers every 4-6 weeks. I take care of my Pom, its great to know how to trim her coat/little paw area. This video made me purchase a pair of nice thinning sicssors. My pom isnt as puff as your Pom in the video, but is pure pom with lots of hair. Any tips on keeping the shed down? The proper way? Brush her with a regular brush/slick brush or comb daily? Thanks.

  • Very nice! I manage to do most of the grooming on my Pom,except nail clipping, for that he goes back to the breeder, and he hates clippers,so use hairdressing scissors. The cutting round his legs was informative,I struggle to get that right, will give it a go!!

  • Sorry, I accidentally pressed send lol! But anyway, I found ur videos very helpful, I just bought my Pomeranian about 6 days ago. She just turned 9 weeks :) and I want to learn in the future how to properly groom her. This is my first double coated dog, I've always owned chihuahuas and I'm not used to grooming frequently. But I wanted to learn techniques on how to groom my baby in case I can't afford to take her to the groomed as often as I should. And you really helped me to get an idea. But o

  • I found your videos very helpful, I just bought my pomm

  • I loved your videos, my pom has been shaved a few times and he does not have the fluffy look. Is there anything I can do to make him fluffier? and also, I wash him once a week , 10 days max. Is it too Much or does it damage his hair by washing him too often? thanks.

  • Love it! And my Bella and Theo love your whistle too lol

  • Hi I really love all of your videos! do you have any creative grooming vids or know of anyone that has good ones. I want to learn how to make stencils for blowpens and how to use dyes. The TBF video was very helpful .Thanks:)

  • Thank you, loved it, didnt get sleepy like i do with 90% of the tutorials, well the dog was gorgeos and that helps, but u part was great too haha :)

  • @IBelong2yu Awe, Thank you! :) Very nice of you to say. :D

  • hi great video~ do u trim the bead on the face?

  • @takamotokeiko I'm sure this was a typo but I'm not sure what you mean... If you mean beard... they don't have one. Please ask again because I don't understand the question. ;)

  • Thanks for your great videos on how to groom a pomeranian. Your videos are the best ones I've found and really teach you how to do it. Thanks again.

  • Do you know if most poms get that type of coat later in their lives? Mines has a coat that makes it look like a little "dingo" type of pom... :(

And how much do you or your salon charge for this type of groom on a pom?

  • @popaleechee Usually by the time they are a year old they should have their adult coat... If yours is one of the less fluffy coated then that's probably how he/she will stay. They are just as beautiful just not as fluffy. I would suggest not trimming the ears like I do on this one if that is the case with yours. Just do all the rest of the trimming and your dog will look great!! :)

  • @spanielmom93 Thanks for the insperation ^^ Plus, maybe the weather of my area could have effect on how her hair looks, because it practically never gets cold around here (70-100 degrees). Even when it's winter! Dx lol

Trust me, I will always love her no matter what! :D

  • Thank you really informative. You have a good teaching method, very comfortable with what you do.

  • @tyson8dalen Thank you! ;)

  • great vid! what kind of shears are you using?

  • @StaciMorin I use Heritage Shears. ;)

  • what brand of shears are you using? great vid!!

  • I'd love to see what you do with a Golden Retriever or other large dog. We get a lot of large dogs, and I often wonder if there are easier/better ways to get the job done...love the Pom video!

  • papillions have almost the same fur as a pomerainian

  • Thank you for your videos! I'll get a pomeranian in a few months so I'm trying to learn as much as possible on how to take care of them :) This really helped. Thanks!

  • CAN YOU PLEASE DO A VID ON HOW TO GROOM PAPILLIONS?PPLLLLLEEEEEAAAAAAASSSSSSSEEEEEEEE???!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TaylorSwift715 Sorry, I don't have any Pap's that come to me... really they don't get much done to them... all you really do is trim up thier paws and feathers on their legs just a tiny bit... bath, brush and toe nail trim is really all they need... sorry I can't really help you on that breed since non come to me at the moment. If I get some I'll post a vid though

  • cann u PLLLLLLEEEEAAAAAASSSSEEE do a video on how to groom Papillions???PPPPLLLLLEEAASSEEE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!THANX

  • GREAT VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE HAVE 5 POMS and groomg gets to be expensive! Thank you so much for posting them.

  • Wow, you did such an amazing job on this Pomeranian! I own a few of my own, and keep them groomed by myself. I have been looking around to make sure I have been grooming them right. Thanks so much for all the pointers! If you list the brand of scissors, and grooming table that would work best, please do!

    Thanks

  • Aww, thanks!! Also, could you post a video sometime on shaving a Pom please??

  • Thank you for the videos!! Taffy was such a great model and absolutely adorable :-)

She looks just like my Kingston with the color and extremely fluffly hair. Kingston does the same thing like she did with the "lead butt", I just hold his tail up because he always sits!! He never acted like it hurts him.

Also, what shampoo do you use or recommend? They always smell so good when they come back from the groomers, mine is just regular oatmeal shampoo and it doesn't have the nice scent...

  • @ISUkate Hi there, glad you liked the video, I use Quadruped Shampoo on just about all of my doggies I groom. ;) It is a bit expensive but it's dilutable so it lasts quite some time. ;)

  • Awsome!! congrats on ur baby i also wanted to ask about ur recomendations on clippers, i have a yorkie and i am looking on grooming him myself so would realy appreciate any advise u have for me on buying all the supplies i need thanx

  • can you do another yorkie one but with better lighting

  • @jeanette6500 I can do another Yorkie... as soon as one comes in BUT I am not sure my lighting situtaion is any different. I have re arranged my groom room but that is all I can do. I can't afford to buy any extra "lighting" so all I can do is lighten it with the editer. I am VERY pregnant right now so it may be a while before I add ANY new videos though so just keep checking back every so often and I will work on it for you. ;)

  • hey thanks alot :) really helped me groom my pom diesel! I brush all his fur out like that but he never seems to look that fluffy, he has such a long tail, gos right over his head. He was breed for showing but i dont show him. Hes very fluffy on his bum and tail also back legs but hes not very fluffy around his head, neack is very fluffy.

  • i cannot thank u enough for sharing your skills with us...i am a new groomer and learn sooo much from your videos...great shortcuts and techniques...I learned more from your videos than grooming school...LOL
