  • I want jan hammer at my wedding too! LOL

  • @Crucco82 THIS is a 1980's marriage. Jan Hammer, Synthesizers, color sparkles. So magical.

  • This wedding was a joke. I never bought it for a moment. Sheena Easton lost whatever sex appeal she had with that dyke haircut.

  • That wedding was ridiculous. I'm glad she was killed. Sonny should've been with Gina

  • I love this scene so much.

And of course Jan Hammer is the unexceptionable musician!

  • Thank you for sharing this loving scene! It's great !

  • Castillo never smiles!

  • @mygqdavid Or changed his clothes, or raised his voice to anyone. That's would made him so cool!

  • O sheila!

  • don's real wife..at the time..was jealous of this..too much coke for her at the time I guess..then melanie dumps don n moves on to antonio..hollywood..geez

  • crockett even invited Jan hammer

  • I think this was the start of season 4. I notice something Castillo never smiles

  • @Renagade70 In a few episodes, only. In the episode "Golden Triangule Part I", he did. There is another episode that we cannot see him smiling, but laughing. Here It is: watch?v=hXNcEXlevwo

  • nicspic - MV never jumped the shark but it came really close with "Missing Hours" the really bad UFO episode. They explain how he kept his persona a few episodes later Sonny is still known as a drug dealer hence the tabloid journalist exposing Sonny which caused major issues with her career and their relationship, then she gets killed so its a moot point. I think Gina finally realized it wasn't ever going to happen but she loved him as a friend so much she accepted the marriage.

  • Castillo still wears black to the wedding!!

  • Hello canadeth73...thank you fro write to me...unfortunatelly Miami Vice was not shown in all seasons here in my country...season 1 and 2 are available...season 3,4 and 5 needs to be imported....I have the 5 season............from alll seasons I like "Definitelly Miami" because the history is very atrractive...Joe Dalva's ambition to catch Sergio Clemente and when Sonny meets Basset..............and "Evan" specially in the forgiveness moment............but, I love all seasons my friend...

  • I love Miami Vice...I'll watch the seasons for all my life!!!...........I olove all guys and girls who are wonderful actors and actresses...

  • His wife dies (she is shot) a couple of episodes after this.

  • betty

  • Sheena Easton was gorgeous! Wonder where she is now?

  • :17

  • Castillo is crying inside!

  • i would buy dvd only for sheena easton ..!!

  • While seasons 4 and 5 weren't as good as the first three, I don't understand why any fan of this series would give up and not even be interested in the final two seasons (which do have some great episodes, by the way). Guess they wouldn't be true vice fans.

  • @dgware Hi......I love Miami Vice since the first season to the last...all seasons have it's atraction...Sonny and Tubbs are the guys...unfortunatelly Miami Vice was not shown at all in my country but I never forget all these guys and girls....wonderful actors.........

  • @sentineladosol Why dont you try and get the dvds, there awesome.

  • Shame that they killed her off and she was 6 weeks pregnant when she died... Sigh

  • Sheena Easton is wonderful in this role..and actually she has some acting talent. Not sure if she made anything else for TV (except music) ..too bad anyway, lovely woman!

  • @rorikjunior sheena easton was also in a highlander episode and a few other low budget movies.

  • VISTAXXX: You're insane! LMAO! He was already back with Melanie Griffith then, 2nd marriage to each other.

  • I want to marry like this!!!

  • This was when Vice really jumped the shark. Having a plot line where a music star marries a vice cop, was far fetched. How was he to keep his persona of Sonny Burnett (for undercover work) while riding around in limos with his new wife in front of the paparazzi?

Also, it seemed that Gina took news of Sonny's engagement TOO well, for she had envisioned herself being with Sonny one day (beyond the occasional one night stands, etc)

  • I agree, i'd given up watching it by the fourth season. like you say it had jumped the shark big time.

  • @nicspic My thoughts exactly, I guess they were getting a little thin on storys by this point in the series. Jumped the Shark, Ow yes.

  • all the music of MV is great. i think a lot of people watched MV because of him (me too). later i begun to love the "art-deco" style. till this day our house looks like 80's miami art deco and of course we've the "limited edition" of all MV-series :-) sorry about the english, i'm from germany.

  • thanks for the post!! i only saw this episode once, but always thought the wedding music was great. i saw don johnson once in a tv series in the 70's (he was so beautiful) and started watching miami vice because of him.

  • dick wolf

  • Castillo has the same reaction during a wedding as when his mom died!

  • Yes, Mr.Olmos was a way really cool in acting his role

  • they should have brought back Brenda...she was the best of Crocketts gf's

  • Sheena Easton was hot as hell back then. I read that Don Johnson fuckeddd the shiitt out of her the whole time they were taping.

  • He deserved it.

  • I dont now why this reads so funny to me but lol!

  • Where did you read that lol

  • really? Weren't they both married?

  • This song from the soundtrack? Who performs it?

  • Jan Hammer

    Wedding Theme

  • Maddddddddddddddd 80's

  • For my eyes only

  • Fuck me Sheena looks at him like hes in for it and they aint even married at that point :)

  • look at Castillo at 0:17! he's like attending a funeral! lol

  • I always thought Costilo was dead but would not lie down

  • Happiest I've ever seen Castillo!

  • Two episodes before, was his first and only time you see him laugh.

  • Not true, there's this one episode in the first season, in that episode he finds his ex girlfriend, and he laughs a lot. I think it's Golden Triangle.

  • This was the episode that killed MIAMI VICE! Frakking Sheena Easton! Frakking wedding!

  • agreed although Missing Hours before this did quite a good job of killing vice too

  • I agree I HATED Sheena Easton in Miami Vice. Sorry to the Sheena Easton fans.

  • Man and woman are supposed to be together..no more of this gay shit please. This tells how it's supposed to be right to the soul...perfect !

  • Don Johnson is so cool,He gets Jan Hammer to play at his wedding

  • great Vice Moment

  • In una sola puntata Don conosce la bella cantante e se la sposa anche, che dire, beato lui.Comunque mi spiace per lui ma nemmeno il secondo matrimonio gli andrà bene purtroppo.
