A lot of people including myself, were not allowed to give attitude, have a smart mouth, slam doors b/c we were mad etc. Why, because our parents did not allow it. Simple as that. Did we like the rules & restrictions? Of course not, but that's how it was. Some kids do have different temperaments, which include testing authority. Others are more easy going. Be blessed.

No offense to Beyonce stans but when saying Rihanna doesen't work hard comparing her to Beyonce IS a little bit close-minded)How long has she been solo.... a good 11 years or so? and Rihanna is at 7. In Rihanna's 7 years she has done more tours, albums, singLs, and shows than Beyonce has done in her 11, in the last 2 years rihannna had 2 albums, 10 singels, 2 world tours and about a million interviews/ T.V. performaces.
Beyonce WORKED hard, now she receivs honors and awards for just being her.

@Skyjem1 Do you have kids? Brielle is or was 14 years old. It doesn't matter how you raise them, when they hit the teen years, they are always trying their parents. That is a typical teenager no matter what. Now, if Brielle got pregnant or was caught with drugs then I'd be with you but giving her mom attitude and being lazy is par for the course when raising teenagers.

@sware84 I'll have to respectfully disagree with you in part. Yes,a lot of kids give attitude b/c of age. Not all do. A lot of people including myself, were not allowed to give attitude, have a smart mouth, slam doors b/c we were mad etc. Why, because our parents did not allow it. Simple as that. Did we like the rules & restrictions? Of course not, but that's how it was. Some kids do have different temperaments, which include testing authority. Others are more easy going. Be blessed.

@Skyjem1 Fair enough. I see your point I just think that her testing authority and being a brat for attention because of the new baby isn't a bad sign. If her grades were to drop, she were caught with boys, or something more alarming then i would worry. Attitude is very synonymous with being a teenager and being too strict can have its consequences as well. I just am not sure that her attitude is a bad sign yet...

@XoXoTheBossxx She has sold 120ish M when you combine DC3 and her solo work...but I'm not sure what the point is...solo artist is different then a group. MJ's sales reflect his solo work individually then jackson 5, same goes for JT, Gwen stefani, Fergie, etc.

I love the show, but sometimes I feel like you guys don't give Rihanna enough credit, especially Kevin. I can't remember when something positive was said about her from Kevin. Sometimes it feels like nothing she says or does will ever be good enough for you. Regardless I love the show, but as a Rih STAN, it's hurts to see you down talk her sometimes. Just a thought. While Bey proved with this era that she can sell based on a fanbase and not based on having smash top 10 hits, she received a millennium award without them showing record breaking stats. Usually when Billboard honors they show accomplishments...this makes some ppl question whether she "bought" the award for promo. Plus, rihanna has multiple smash songs and solid selling albums and has more edge and relevance than B...although B can sing and dance much betta

Rihanna just surpassed Beyonce world wide Beyonce has sold 75ish M records as a solo artist WW Rihanna has sold 83M WW and counting. Twitter records...I'm not sure that is something to be proud of...Rihanna has had an amazing 2011 and looks to do even better 2012.

@sware84 Beyonce has been nominated for album of the year before and actually won. I have rihannas album and I doubt that she will win. Not saying its not good but, its not album of the year material. There is no song on there that says "epic" or "wow". One of the best songs is (I love it) Cockiness and thats just a dance song, really. Think about how many albums Rihanna has come out with. She should have more than only 8 million albums more. Bey is only on her 4th album.

I agree Rihanna should have sold more than 8M in the US and again someone being on their fourth album means little. Britney sold 2x as much as all of Riri's albums combined. All of Bey's albums still hasn't matched Britney's 14x platinum debut. I was stating stats...there is no need for excuses. They are all successful but Rihanna is outdoing Beyonce sales/successwise.
