Can you explain what you did to record straight onto your computer? And what program you used on your computeR?

Well, you need a Linebox to plug your guitar into (I use one from Line6 called "Toneport ux1").

Then you need a program to act as an amplifier (I use "gearbox" which came with the toneport).

Finally you need a program for recording. I like to use Cubase, but if you're a mac user I'd suggest using ProTools (it's a much more simple and efficient program).

It's actually both a Fender and a Squire XD

The logo says Fender but a small mark on the top indicates that it was made under co-operation with Squire, whatever that means... The amp is a program called Gearbox by Line 6, the guitar is plugged into the computer.

However, one thing I notice some good players these days miss. The "look". I apologise, I don't want to sound patronizing, but the ay you hold the pick makes you look like you are afraid of strumming those strings.

When I started playing, Metallica was pretty much everything I ever played. They get your riff-tecniques going ^^ :P
