i remember him, when i was influenced by my parents music.i was born in 1971.but to see him now.(when they can be arsed pointing the camera at him..).i feel sad.....things should be left in the past.
Lorenzo, your post makes me sad. Why do you feel this way? Have you ever been to a Willie concert and experienced his amazing talent, playing Trigger in a way that could make you weep? What was sad about Ray Charles? The old blues men who could talk the talk because they had lived it? That's Willie too. That is not 'sad'. That is magic!
Glad you enjoyed it, WT! I was roaming the whole field all day long. By the time Willie came on, i was able to walk up to the front (section 100) and could have gotten under the stage. But i wanted a good view for video taping and stayed a little further back. It's why the camera shakes on close-ups - if you're a distance away, you really should have a tripod.
If anyone who was at the concert remembers whether the young man on lead guitar is Willie or Paula's son, i'd love to know. I thought Paula called him 'my brother'. Thanks and hope you enjoy this video!

That's Lukas, Spiritbear, Willie & Annie's oldest son. His brother's name is Micah--he plays drums in "their" band, 40 Points.
