  • lol its peraneal(sp) and its the hole down there lol ask me i have been in nursing for 30+ years and most of them were in nursing homes so ya i did know what u were trying to say

  • Damn right we short guys have attitudes.

  • LMAO Perfect timing! Qe were just talking about you...

  • I'd have taken all that as bad omens and gone back home!

  • There was always the carrot hanging from a stick held out in front of me that the next day would be better, and some of the times we made land were actually a pleasure!

  • things can only go up from here, well maybe not...been there at the gas pumps lol

  • Things were a lot better when we got home.

  • @fehquig there's no place like it!

  • I quite like gin and tonic but scotch is pure for me nothing else... The way you two discuss is pure nectar for a vlogger's ears ! Just so natural, love you guys ! 30 dollars... that is robbery... and no YT--- the real pits ! I thought that taxi drivers always paid cash !!!

  • I'll mix blended scotches, but single malts are to be enjoyed neat!

I always pay cash, but when I travel it's more convenient to use a preloaded card than to shlep hundreds and thousands in cash around. Most places would authorize my card without a Zip Code when we went to Nashville...

Getting food on BC Ferries is just like going to dine at the airport. It's better to chow down before the trip!

We never use a script and seldom do more than one take :P

  • You two cracked me up talking about going for the guy at the gas pump. That would be me.

Sounds like you all had a challenge getting there for sure.

  • The whole trip was a challenge... I can't remember another time when I had to force myself to hold my temper as often as I did in those ten days.

  • Haha...well..what can I say...! ;)

  • You have my permission to say whatever you like :P

  • It sounds like a trip from hell. I know the cruise went better.

I looked in the dictionary, and the accent on the word "perineum" is on the syllable " in."

  • The first two days of the cruise were still pretty terrible, and it did get somewhat better after that but not good enough for me to consider it a satisfying vacation in the main. If I ever go on another cruise it won't be any time soon. I need to forget about this one first!

  • @fehquig Oh I'm so sorry. I had forgotten. I guess I'll go watch the cruise video again. Will you be sticking to camping for a while? xoxox

  • We need to wait for it to get nice enough to go camping! We're already talking and excited about going up into the Rocky Mountains sometime around late June for a week... We'll see! Meanwhile, we have gtons and tons of road trip, restaurant, and cruise videos to put together :)

  • @genmama1955 That's just wrong about the pronunciation of perineum. Having taken Latin for a year in college, I should have known it should be pronounced periNEum. Stupid dictionary! (stupid comment).

  • @genmama1955 Let's see how stupid my dictionary is: There's one of those horizontal lines above the second E so I guess that's right...

  • Pay cash? Fuck that! lol

  • Lend me your Zip Code?

  • @fehquig 67219 will work for ya. lol

  • @mieses2pieces It's a Wichita Kansas zip code.

  • Wow what an adventure you all had, thank goodness you finally made it. Oh HECK NO,

that is robbery, two burgers, fries and water. I would not be ordering on that Ferry. I would be really mad. LOL on the manipedi, ha ha. I hate when people are so rude. I am glad you didn't ram that guy , just not worth it. Good thing you remembered your pills. My husband has a vacation check list he keeps on the PC and we both go down the list and check things off.

    It really relieves the mind.

  • Usually when we're both in the right frame of mind for a vacation things go so smooth that everything is a pleasure. Our trip to SouthTube5 was like that. I'm putting up the videos from both trips concurrently to show some contrast between a vacation gone wrong and one that was right in every way!

  • :)

  • :P

  • Oh hells bells, 30 dollars for just that!!!!

We women know all about the perineium (sp?) during childbirth, lol..

Looks like that Scotch was going down well :))

  • It used to be that one could have a meal on the ferry for ten dollars... Those days are apparently long gone! Cundy and I have never had children, so we tend to ignore the perineum most of the time LOL Scotch always goes down well, even cheap scotch!

  • I can't wait to hear the rest. Sounds like you had a typical "Steve & Tori" type of trip LOL We have the same kind of crap luck. Was this recorded while you were still in port? I can't stand dealing with busy gas stations and rude people. Your like me. I would have crushed him LOL.

  • Yep! We were still tied to the pier. It got worse when they woke me up for a fire drill as soon as I finally relaxed enough to sleep! Fortunately we recorded the rest :)

  • Hugs Cindy and Andy. I wish your cruise didn't start out so badly!!

  • It could only get better, right? LOL

  • Since the conversation strayed from defining a manipedi I had to google it. Manicure/Pedicure. Ok I get it. Back when, GM used to put the gas inlet at the back of the car so you wouldn't have to be concerned which side of the car it's on, but I've had people do the same to me when I attempt to back into the pumping area. I think people have become very rude these days.

    EdElisea 01/06/12

  • Here's what's really stupid: I have owned some seventeen or eighteen cars from Ford, GM, and Chrysler, and all of them have had the fuel filler either in the middle between the tail lights or behind the license plate, OR somewhere on the left rear quarter panel with no exceptions! The one exception is this 1993 Fifth Avenue New Yorker with the filler on the RIGHT rear quarter panel... So much for car companies being consistent!

  • Stop your bitching and go get another 15 dollar burger! ;-)

  • Only if you're treating!

  • fusterclucks can be annoying. :)

  • While you're poised and ready for the big ones, the little ones sneak up and get you pissed off by surprise LOL

  • Peri - knee - um. Do you not have gas buddy app on your phone? It's so worthwhile. Gosh, that was a very inauspicious start to your cruise. It had to get better after that - I really hope it did anyway. You guys can make a really crappy day sound funny. Good for you for seeing the humor in it. Scotch can cure a lot of ills, eh? Even gin is helpful.

  • My phone is so old that it doesn't have apps. Besides, I left it at home because I wasn't going to call anyone, nor was I expecting any calls. I'm a lot hesitant to join everyone who's already on the Planet of the Apps LOL Without a sense of humor I would have gone down Suicide Trail long ago, wouldn't you? But wait... There's more!!!

  • @fehquig Andy you are right. Laughter can take the sharpness out of a lot of pains. You drive for a living without a gps in your phone? Wow. That's courage. I can do without a lot of the fancy bells and whistles on my phone but the gps is my 'gotta have it' option. The rest is just fun. Okay, I facebook from there too and that's handy.

  • @thizizliz I have an old-fashioned map book to find the few places that I don't know... Much of the driving that I do is repetition, going to the same places over and over again. I only need to consult the map maybe once or twice a week on average because I know where everything else is already. When I started driving cab there was no such thing as GPS LOL Fortunately my sense of direction is pretty good, and if I ever do get lost it's not for long...

  • @fehquig My hubby is like that - he started giving people directions when he was a preschooler. It takes me years to learn every new city. I'm glad you have a built in gps; you don't need a satellite for that one! :)

  • That is next to where I stayed in Seattle:)

  • You stayed next to the perineum of Seattle? Lucky you!!!

  • Oh, that is just WRONG on so many levels that you could not reply to your comments.....THE WORLD SHOULD MAKE YT AVAILABLE at ALL times............that is the law....hehehe

That is almost worse than paying the outrageous burger price...

Perineum is a medical term for that place of the body...LOL

  • Boycott BC Ferries! The ferry ride was a foreshadowing of the cruising experience for me... The food wasn't all that good and the internet sucked, but at least I could get YouTube on the ship even though it was really slow...

  • I'm going to my local Italian resteraunt and ordering a Mannipetti tonight!!

  • You won't be disappointed!

  • 2 burgers and water, 30 bucks??? When I got the bill I would have puked on the table and told them they can have their burger back, I want my money! That's just crazy! ~ Manni Peddi is good with garlic bread and fresh parmesan ... cough. : )

  • Vancouver Island travel rule #1: Eat at home before you board the ferry and save a ton of cash!

I see you like your manipedis Au Gratin!

  • A $15 burger better come with a happy ending for that price!

I will be skipping the manipedi with cheese and sauce, thank you:-)

Thats the "taint", it "taint" the balls and it "taint" the asshole! LOL

I love that look of fear on the face of a person with a nice car when they realize you dont give a fuck about your own:-)

  • Getting something to eat on the ferry is just like getting something to eat at the airport. It's always overpriced and never satisfying...

Oh, come on. All a manipedi needs is some fresh ground pepper and a dash of Worcestershire sauce with some Ricotta cheese and you'll just love it!

The taint must be closely related to the haint LOL

Old cars whose values have depreciated down to nothing but still run great are the best!

  • @fehquig You could stuff a shoe with ricotta and I would love it;-)

  • @1DRock37167 See?

  • so this vid makes me glad we haven't taken any trips this winter....oy... funny line."a type of pasta" haha....... thanks for the vid...hope your blood pressure is back down by now.

  • I made sure I didn't skip any blood pressure pills... It took three weeks after this trip to get my blood sugar levels down to something approaching normal, and I imagine my blood pressure was doing the same thing!!!

  • Travel can be so much fun, without the pains we wouldnt be glad to get home I think. lol

  • Getting home is a big relief after some trips like this last one... We got some good video, but that's the best thing that came out of this one. I could have passed on most of the experience...

  • I do hate hassles, I can get pretty impatient, anger flares, especially if they are messing with the schedule. Nothing bothers me more than a schedule though. I try real hard to live without them.

  • I generally hate schedules too... Usually I'm I'm ready when I'm good and ready... I get to work when I get to work and so on...

  • "a kind of pasta" bwhahahahaaa !! Good times! hugs, Chris

  • For you and for me from Chef Boy-ar-dee!
