Check out her singing "Little Girl Blue" on the Tom Jones Show, posted on YT. It's representative of another side of Janis' voice. Also, posted on YT is her singing 'Maybe' on the "Music Scene". Both live performances. Worth watching. Sorry to hear she makes your skin shrivel up, but if it weren't for her, no Pink I'm afraid. She was a pioneer.

Pink isn't all about surface beauty, she can actually sing and is talented. Janis exploded with emotion, and Janis is a tough act to follow. Janis's singing makes my hairs stand, some of the black female singers do it too. Pink can also do it, because she isn't afraid to let it all hang out. Some singers try to hard to be hot babes and that is all they do and they sing average- Pink is talented and she looks fine. I think she imtimidates guys cause she shows a toughness. Janis was not so.

Her voice and talent isn't even up to par as compared to Janis, even during her later years when her vocals are somewhat ruined by drugs and too much alcohol.
