Lmao. I had to look this up online because I am currently reading "Kafka On The Shore." I see the top comments talking about it... What a Murakami like coincidence.
Thank You for putting this up. im so happy find clips of ilya kaler on utube :D especially of todays him playing the violin and not the way he did in the competitions when he was young... triple cheers! ;)
Another in an apparent long line of Murakami fans to find this video. I'm about 40 pages from the end of the novel, and I don't want it to end. By listening to this, I'm hoping to re-enjoy some of the chapters I've already read. Murakami's descriptions are so captivating and entertaining--it's fun to have an audio component to deepen the experience.
I agree with everyone here who have read Kakfa on Shore in relation to Archduke Trio. I think Hoshino would be delighted to know that other folks are suddenly attracted to this piece also.
Kudos to Murakami for a good book. I'm not that happy with the ending but all in all the book met expectations.
im just finishing kafka on the shore,so i had to go check the melody out.the book is great, almost finished.i was looking for the milion dollar trio version
I award this 3 SCHINDLERS...What a lovely captivating and somewhat unhurried lyric performance. The cellist in particular has his handle on the sublime evocation that is this rhetoric. They are at their most evocative in the theme-motif
Great playing. Amazing sense of spaceA bit reminding of that old gem ;the Kempf Szeryng .Fournier recording.of course these gentlemen have plenty of teir own character
Mr Kaler is an old favorite.Hope there are some recordings out there.
I feel sorry for poor old Beethoven... I'm here coz of Kafka too... Lol

No idea who Murakami is, just here because of Ludwig. The Stern/Rose/Istomin version may be the best ever recorded.
