I don't like Jack Edwards very much, I don't hate him, maybe I'm just use to my hometown commentary. I like the Bruins though and that's weird because I'm a Leafs Fan. If you are ever in Toronto, watch a Leafs Fan with Joe Bowen doing the commentating, he's pretty energetic and hilarious.

Jack Edwards soliloquys are classic. I can't believe what comes out of his mouth at times, he's unreal and a caricature really. He does cross lines, but it makes for great etertainment, and I gotta tell you, I LOVE that he really gets into the games. He's got heart and loves his team...thats what being a fan is about. We don't have the skills, but we put our hearts into our teams and cheer them on. Edwards just fuels the fire!

I have to say Jack Edwards is the best play-by-play announcer the Bruins have ever had in my lifetime. Better than Dale Arnold, Dave Shea, Fred Cusick and Don Earle. yeah he can be a little partial at times, but he IS the home team's announcer. Brick is the best color announcer we ever had as well. NESN has a great team right now, but I do miss Rob Simpson. They should have kept him over Naoko.
