Tortoises learning to open doors is quite common, it seems. Right now in the collection I have, for instance, two adult male Horsfields, who can open a totally closed wooden door in our livingroom. Their incredibly strong animals for their size.
I also just obtained a baby Sulcata. I dread to think what he'll be getting up to when he's an adult. : D
its amazing how strong turtles are for their size! i have a small russian tort and he can open the window of his terrarium :S gave me lots of problems at first
hey i have few turtle my self my sister was first one to have a box turtle my family her box turtle bit her ouch then i have some too but there hibernate so far
the cat would always sneek out,and we would yell at her so she stopped going out i should have got it on vid,i wish i could train the turtle to open the door to go out.

Do tortoises go like toilets? and do you need to clean out their habitat. Sorry for this but I'm getting one in a month so need some advice hehe ^_^
