The E30 is much better build quality than new BMWs. I would put in the Signature Motoring performance intake kit for only around $150 and gain around 9.5HP on the stock output for the 325/M3 and a bit less for the 318. I highly recommend this item, see my youtube channel for the action video on it.
The turbo worked but I had to replace the compressor housing, and the wastegate was bent, also none of the hardware was correct for mounting it. It all ='s junk.
Ok so Im confused. My 325i is running 208bhp with a remap, iridium plugs, k&n signature intake, exhaust system. $650. This is for $1600 and its an extra 3bhp? I am not being a dick but is this a 325i the kit was put on or a 318i?
for one, this is WHEEL hp, so its probably around 240-250bhp, and your car started with 168hp, the intake prolly added 5, exhaust 5, plugs NONE, and remap around 10, so that puts you at 188bhp and around 150hp wheel, so in other words the gain would be alot more then 3hp :)

While this is a low yield setup it is using stock ecu, if they upped the boost and used a proper ecu they could see 250whp+ (312bhp if you want to do flywheel estimate)

the maf doesnt read boost the motronic is "dumb" the that sense. msd with boost retard is the way to go. also an upgraded maf works apparently theres a hyundai car that has an adaptable maf with a 5v and 12v signal which are required.. turboing e30 with high hp numbers is more or less a science

%41 horsepower gain with stock fuel system. i think im gonna get one of these to start off with, should be good on a nice fresh rebuild, my initial hp is higher, so my results should be better :)
@Wacccc it does a little more than that they just like to underrate it for that way when you buy the kit from their website and you get more power out of it your pleasently surprised then you go bragging to your friends more

Those "china" turbos will put down numbers on the dyno but on higher boost levels over long periods i'd like to see how they hold up so i will be buying a t3 spec gt35r from them and seeing how it holds up in my rx7. Worst that can happen is it will smoke due to oil being blown past the seals and more than likely my fault. If i blow my motor, i dont care. People part out n/a fc's often and sell their motors cheap. I want to prove these make power and can last.
