you should really create a CD or a site with music from your church and songs like this. You play wonderfully and cannot really say ive every heard better.
Thankyou for your prayers its greatly appreciated:)
This piece suits a large open space or lots of reverb. I had to wack the reverb right up in my version to get the effect I was after.
A problem I encounter with this piece is that on 4s or 8s 9stopped diap) it does go a bit high and on some organs, especially pipe organs it can be too shrill and squeaky, any an open diap is too loud for me! But again its a personal preference I suppose
I am glad you picked the music up because its one of those that can be used for many different occasions.
Thanks for viewing and all of your comments. Nothing higher than a 4' on this registration. Yes, the 32' Resultant is heard at the end. The notes are easy - the hard part is making music out of it.

Its so often the case in many pieces that the notes are difficult and the music sounds good. in slow meaningful pieces it is the case of making the music yourself!

As David points out it looks and sounds fairlt easy, but I think the key is to be expressive with it. This is a piece you have to work and mould to how you like it to sound. it took me a long time to settle on a style and voicings, bringing in the swell on the second repeat of the theme and then contrasting with a reed for the central section.
I enjoyed the contrast on the last section to go easy into the last theme, which was nice. I loved the last pedal, I presume was the 32' Resultant. The bounce that is created by that is wonderful. The organ I play has a 32 bombarde which is very garish and does not add anything to this!
Yes, notes not difficult. I couldn't find any arrangement for organ, so I had to do my own from a solo piano score. The only difficulty is bringing off a piano version on the organ.
