Top Gear is purely entertainment, i dnt take their reviews too seriously. My dad had one of these and I enjoyed it. People forget that Proton is an affordable brand and the Satria isn't a "hot hatch" that does 0-100km/h in 6.5s. It's just a more-than-decent-affordable-ha­tch. Handles really well. Only thing I didn't like about it was 1. ride was a bit hard and 2. it didn't have a turbo :)

You guys take Top Gear seriously, they make it for entertainment. Not to tell people about new cars and whats good and bad. In some episodes they purposely make the car look bad for the comedy.

If you want real people's opinion about cars, watch more boring shows like fifth gear.

IF Satria has a small V6 Biturbo with about 400++bhp cukup kaw already lor... This spec is too weak, a Satria's chassis can handle much more torque.

@extremeclimax Agree sgt2 ngan u bro, but Govt. Malaysia boleh je hantar most of the bakal engineer utk belajar ttg technology automotive di luar negara. But what I have seen is that, govt. lebih suka buat partnership ngn syrikat2 lain instead of educating their own future engineers. Last time, Volkswagen pernah offer utk buat partnership ngan Proton in which both part parts obtained mutual benefits. But CEO Proton yg pntg diri sendiri, abandon it bcause they're not satisfied with the payment.

@pranxtergurl The Proton Satria Neo is a great looking and handling hatch. Cusco have developed a special version for racing/rallying in Japan also! (Top Gear says MANY cars suck)

no offence, but even with all the engine modding, it still can't beat the old b16a in stock standard form, however, the handling of this car from the looks of it is SPEECHLESS !
