1st off, all members of Rancid are straight edge now, they have been off the juice and drugs for over a decade now. Tim has gained weight from the steriods he has to take to keep his TB under control (the reason transplants dropped their tour after warped tour 2004), and i could not think of a better replacement for Brett Reed then Brandan. Some people will hate him JUST because he replaced an original member, but Brandan is crazy talented and fits in perfectly with the aging Rancid.
