umm idk how to say this because i never tell another man this buta' youve inspired me i bought a ultimate 2 and started working out... so yeah thanks for your vids
I have the ultimate 2 and the ab cruncher. Sometimes when I put on over 100 pounds (on each side), when I try to do the crunch motion I actually lift myself out of the seat. I have to throw my legs around to make myself fall. Then I can scoot back and start doing crunches. Some days I can't even make it fall.
thanks! my stomach isnt quite 'ripped' yet so i might just see what i can max out at right now (dont wanna strain myself) and gradually work my way up to maximum weight. are you on a strict diet or do you just generally try to eat as healthy as you can?
@RecurringNightmare You keep doing your Ab Cruncher routine and your stomach will be ripped soon enough. I am not on any strict diet, just eat as healthy as I can. My wife works out like a maniac at the gym and she also has a personal trainer so she is on the healthiest diet ever.
love this system bro. i got ALL the attachments. i dont use free weights because im more interested in toning up and burning calories. i LOVE being able to do cardio AND tone muscles at the same time. i used to use the ab-crunch but then started doing inclined situps. im gonna try to hook up a bunch of weight and pull out the ab-cruncher again. i have a midsection i wanna tone up how much weight and how many reps would you recommend?
@RecurringNightmare Excellent! You have the same system I have with all attachments. For my crunches I do 80 of them a day, so 4 sets of 20 and believe me it has ripped my stomach. I use all but the 2 extra 50 lb. Bows. You do this every day and you will see quick results!
@FFFFbody You dumb ass! WTF, pile drive, lol. Been watching WWE wrestling, lol. If you aren't going to leave a sensible comment on my channel, then don't bother.
@FFFFbody I checked out your channel and I can see you are just another punk ass kid hiding behind your computer. No name, avatar, location , uploads, etc. .
I have the same bowflex your handle to lift up to store is not in the locked down position, thats why yours is rocking it shouldnt do that. it some times hard to lock it on carpet.
that ab cruncher is squeeking and the whole mechine is wobbling around..its not made to last...you said it had every thing...can you do pull ups on it...or what about dips...nope...but I can on my soloflex...and my soloflex is solid and built to last a life time...
@bossr07 My BowFlex is also built to last a life time. The reason it was wobbling is because my lift to store handle was not in the locked down setting. The rods are also guaranteed for life. I have another gym as well in my basement with free weights and a Weider 146 bench. I also have a pull up bar. Been using it daily since Oct. 2008 and it's a great machine.
Your video really helped me out with making my decision on what kind of weight equipment to buy. I have an Ultimate 2 in the mail right now and I also bought the 1090 Selectech Dumbells so I can still have some free weight action to go with it. Good vids!
@Darthburn Right on!! I'm glad my video could help. That is the reason I made this vid. I love the Bowflex Ultimate 2 because it is a very good machine and results show fast. You will enjoy it. Let me know how it goes for you assembling it. Cheers
@oofooh It's not to bad, just the Ab Cruncher makes alot of noise as you can see here. That's the one my wife always complains about, lol. No way of oiling it.
I had mine for 3 years except I don't have a ab cruncher.I'm hook to it with "The Bowflex Body Plan"book. You get more workout principles such as negatives, continous slow movement, double pre exhaustion and many more.I spent half my life working out for 15 years in the gym with Bowflex Ultimate is a big plus.I still use the same workout with my Bowflex with minor adjustment.I still go in the gym just for heavy squat.
@HELLIOSATE Right on! I have a book and a dvd that came with it. However I never really took a good look at the book. I really should sit down and read it.
I'm seriously thinking about getting the bowflex ultimate 2, but why do u suggest free weights too?? For $2500 I was kinda hoping that the ultimate 2 was all I needed.
THey are great gyms. I have always worked out with free weights since I was a teenager. The Bowflex only came along in Oct. 2008, I won the thing in a draw at the local Health food store in town. The heavier free weights I use mainly to do a arm and chest workout out. They just build a bit more mass, however the Bowflex will make you body look really good if you use it 5 days a week .
I'm not really sure. I actually won this Bowflex in a local draw held at the Health Food store. I was in buying vitamins back in 2008 and I threw my name in a draw box. Two weeks later they phoned and told me I won the Ultimate 2 BowFlex.
how much u using. i bought the ab crunch attachment for my ultimate 2 in 1st week of nov this year. so with about 2 months use. i use 50 50 on each side of resistance and do about 200 daily. do u do something similar. or you work out more or less. will you let me know. thanks for your video.
I use the Ab cruncher every day. I do 4 sets of 20 crunches. Then I do another 120 regular sit-up type crunches without the use of any machine. The BowFlex is one awesome machine. You keep using it on a regular basis and you will notice a big difference in a short period of time. I also workout on free weights as well.

do your feet want to lift up when doing these? or can you lock your feet down?
RETICS1 1 year ago
@RETICS1 My feet stay flat on the ground and don't move. I really like the ab cruncher, because it works well. My wife uses it too.
