RSOE today 8/2 showing 2.3 eq within 3 miles of pisgah, and usgs showing same 2.3 eq, 11 miles, in same vacinity... lol, rsoe says 3 miles from pisgah, while usgs goes 32 miles away... but almost identical location. I think usgs is afraid to use the word pisgah!! DUTCH, please give your opinion on todays eq in relation to venting,... thx again for all your hard work.
That Dutch is from the mining operation... it's not from volcanic venting... as much as you'd like it to be, it simply is not. Look at a satellite image, it's clearly from blasting at a strip mining operation...
Anyone that's lived in the desert recognizes that as mining activity. I'm familiar with that area and I know with 100 certainty there are mine/rock quarries right in THAT area.

Amboy which is pretty far from Pisgah Crater. 29 Palms Marine Corp. base is only like 2 or so miles approx from Amboy, so maybe that is some military action you photographed.
Your photograph of "smoke" while facing in a southern direction, this based on the gas station pumps and garage are north of the road. Also, 29 Palms Marine Corp. Base is south / southwest of Amboy, where as Pisgah Crater is North West of Amboy and approx. 40 MILES away, this pic is of something much closer then 40 miles.
@dutchsinse with all due respect, this may be a venting, however this is not the same spot you first encountered thought I agree it does look like a small venting.

@lamapper problem with ground coordinates is that we're looking at plumes on radar.. check my most recent video.. title.. "pusing the envelope" .. look in the description box below the video... i have the videos listed from the FIRST one i did to today.. 15 videos total on the subject.
below each video the coordinates were posted and also on the new one.
problem is, theres a couple mile swath we're looking at on RADAR.. no exact point like a crater top.. more like geyser activity
@dutchsinse for instance, you don't see a lot of geyser activity at the peaks or craters on old volcanoes.. rather it occurs at the base or out in the range away from the volcano itself.
the first video, from the 23rd.. i show the radar and the location .. within about a 5 mile radius.. maybe a bit more.. but that general area. So to the east.. the women captured plumes on camera.. that fits with the plate movement since the old pisgah eruptions 20,000 years ago

@billythekid602 what the heck are you talking about, 'vented'? It's a volcano, but that area has been quiet for ~25ka now, it's as cold as gravedigger's arse.
Not saying something might not kick off in the general area again, but if it does it'll be known well in advance; earthquake swarms, inflation, SO2 & CO2, He isotope ratios, harmonic tremor etc. - but it won't be the same place, most of the holocene volcanics in that general area are the products of monogenetic eruptions IIRC.
@abaduck - I would generally agree with however, you're assuming you're getting unfiltered, manipulation free information from the USGS and that I seriously doubt is happening. What would YOU do if you knew that (as you correctly state) a 2000 year old dormant volcano all of a sudden started percolating?? You would have mass hysteria on your hands. Folks are nervous as it is living in that state and (factual) information such as this area waking up might trigger a mass exodus..... just sayin'..

Actually it was a culmination of the financial instability of the state, hiking taxes, lowering quality of life etc... but with this latest event, I am absolutely not regretting my decision. I would hate to see a catastrophic event take place on the west coast however I think the deck is staked against it. Perhaps a silly question, but how broad is the no-fly in this area? I realize the number of Military installations, and God knows what other facilities, are located in this region. Seems an adept pilot, either fixed or rotor, could get near/high enough for an experienced photographer/videographer with right equipment tocapture this. I believe it to be happening. Daddy always said, "when a secure facility is erected, off limits to the citizens, it is a license to withhold secrets. Period".
You should get in touch with someone at Roy's gas station and ask them to keep an eye on that vent. When it starts steaming he could take some pictures. He probably doesn't have much else to do; I doubt if that station is very busy.
The smoke you see is far from the crater, I do not think that is a vent, as these are near the crater, behind the mountain is a military base. I speak little English, but I would call the gas station and I asked if they had seen anything unusual in the crater. I hope someone can do it. In the desert you can see very small tornadoes of dust. Also big as I saw haboob in Phx. Flagstaff is about 600 volcanoes, you can see the lava, and it looks as if it was not long ago and has very many years.Tks.

I commented on the actual video by yvonneandangie as well, but the Amboy Crater is NOT the Pisgah Crater. They are located in the same lava field, about 42 miles apart at the least. This is Lavic Lake I believe. Pisgah and surrounding area is mostly on privately own land. Has no one else noticed this?
@apertureohio You're correct. These photos are NOT of Pisgah, no way. The dead give away is that they were taken from in town, which like you said is approx. 42 mi away from Pisgah. Also, 29 Palms Marine Corp. base is also in that area, just a couple miles away from that gas station and Roy's Diner.

well i have to give you some credit. although i still dont think that there is any volcanic activity going on out there. i just know to many people that drive out there and none of them have said a thing to me. you know what you might want to do. call up some people that have business' there and just ask them. im sure you can find some people through google.

If you're reading radar and seeking an explanation surely you should be dealing with NOAA, rather than USGS, since whatever radar returns you're talking about were unconnected with any geological process.

USGS has lost all credibility. Even before this I knew things were NOT being reported but can we blame USGS or the administration that runs it? They are being censored like the msm and now we all are dependent on 'underground new' like other countries that do not have free speech.

@abaduck It was technically a type of eruption, but there was simply no lava. The USGS has lost it's credibility by saying there was no seismicitiy in the region and the plumes were thunderstorms that form in the middle of the desert.

The last cloud 8:25 you see is a car driving down the road kicking up dust.Thats it.You can clearly see the road in line with where the dust cloud originates. Maybe we should check out the Salton Sea next! Hopefully our GPS will not take us to Mexico!:) Maybe Roy's had to lower their gas prices due to all of the calls they were getting because of our video...
Also want to add that after not having seen rain for so long a time we have now had lots of rain starting last night and the crater area has since been covered up with lots of radar condensation so it's hard to see any plumes in the area now...

Hi Everyone- first of all we want to say that my GPS phone told us that this was the Pisgah Crater. Perhaps it was wrong like it can be so many other times. Secondly, we did not say that these were steam plumes and wondered if they could be military ones. We did go out there two days ago and the gas was that expensive! We ran out of memory on the video unfortunately and were only left with still shots. Sorry if we wasted everyone's time with this. We were only trying to help Dutch...
The location this video and pictures were taken from was not at the location of the suspected Pisgah area venting unfortunately. This is from Amboy Crater and if you look on google earth just to the west of the Amboy Crater is an area where the military performs Artillery Blasts. I wish they would have gone to the right area.

We all see what just down the block in a local area does on Gas prices or even across the street. I have no doubt that these gas prices would be current. I have made many trips in a no mans land area, gas is always much much higher..even as much as 2.00 more than what we pay locally.

It would be a little more assuring to see something bigger and up closer and on video. Compared to the plumes we've seen via radar over the past few days, that's pretty small. The plumes we've seen were the size of a city. Maybe someone will capture a big one; I'm sure there's plenty of people looking now. I'd go myself if I could afford it.
@TyrantsAREhere Yeah but, if the crater is venting gas, some of it would be see through. So it can show up on radar as a very large plume but actually not be seen. I was privelidged to swim in a 2100 year old hot spring called Pamukale in Turkey. They have an oracle/shaman ledgend based on the gasses coming out of the ground there. It's all CO2 and CO thats coming out. You can't see it, smell it, nothing, but it kills in about 2 minutes by suffocation. Half the mountain is covered in vents
@myrainywoods Let me just say that this doesn't really affect Dutch's conclusions about the plumes for me. I still think he's dead onto the truth, I just don't think this video confirms it, and in fact is starting to look like they are just sensationalists... It immediately struck me as odd that at the critical point of the video live shots stopped and all we got thereafter was still shots, especially after we were tortured with 3-4 minutes of a drive that was totally irrelevant.
I'm at a loss to understan why there would be a consperasy to hide vocanic activity if that is what this actually is. Who would the conspirators be? The state of California? The federal government? The US Geological Survey? What purpose would they have for hiding such a thing?

I hate to be a wet blanket, bc I really wanted this to vindicate you, but it doesn't. It is very suspicious. Who makes a trip like that, spends all their space or battery on a drive no one cares about, and misses the critical live shot of the plume? Those could have been still shots of anything at any time. It just doesn't make sense, and there must be some scrutiny of these things or the truthers are simply believing blindly just like the masses believe the MSM. Wait for another confrmation

Ever since my brother told me not to ever trust the government, I don't. @myrainywoods Gas is actually that high, when your out in the middle of now where. Do you ever take road trips and your in rual area, Gas is always on the expensive side. Your also in CA. Anyone who has made trips like this through a dessert in CA knows this, or Nevada.
@myrainywoods My brother who was murdered at only 36 by a complete stranger, used to work at NORAD while in the Air Force. He would never tell us anything about his work other than saying, "you have NO idea what the government does and is planning to do, it's mind blowing." No matter how hard we tried, he couldn't and wouldn't talk about anything he knew. You could actually see his face "alter" if you will, when we would see him thinking about it. It was sooo strange.
Try this. Go to Roy's Gas & Cafe in maps. Now try to figure out in which direction these photos were taken. Hint: the highway and telephone poles appear in view. What direction would need to follow to get to Pisgah?
Obviously this video was to credit his findings. He never promoted the uploaders channel or videos, just used to try and match unmatchable data. All he did was thank the ladies for getting footage that may make people think he has a clue what he is talking about.
Would that small plume be visible on RADAR? Not likely, but whatever makes the story seem real. Good job to the people that got the footage, I think misinterpreting info is a dead on accurate explanation of half of dutch's videos.
It was probably Twenty Nine Palms Marine exercises. Or its probably more likely to be someone driving on the dirt roads kicking up dust or a campfire or just the downdrafts coming down the mountain kicking up sand. If it were volcanic there would be earthquake swarms to back this up.
did they ask the attendent if this was normal? - are there seasons when this might happen? did the attendent seem surprised -- have any thing to offer? if it's new you would think that people near by would be a bit nervous....and would be asking questions....

@dutchsinse with all due respect, this may be a venting, however this is not the same spot you first encountered thought I agree it does look like a small venting.
My gut tells me that this one would NOT have been picked up on radar, just not large enough or high enough. Please encourage people to go to the more likely location based on information from @sheilaaliens @prophetchaser @cbemerine Location X, Map: s (dot) gd /hbxB0m Directions: is (dot) gd /6YBix5

@lamapper problem with ground coordinates is that we're looking at plumes on radar.. check my most recent video.. title.. "pusing the envelope" .. look in the description box below the video... i have the videos listed from the FIRST one i did to today.. 15 videos total on the subject.
below each video the coordinates were posted and also on the new one.
problem is, theres a couple mile swath we're looking at on RADAR.. no exact point like a crater top.. more like geyser activity

@dutchsinse for instance, you don't see a lot of geyser activity at the peaks or craters on old volcanoes.. rather it occurs at the base or out in the range away from the volcano itself.
the first video, from the 23rd.. i show the radar and the location .. within about a 5 mile radius.. maybe a bit more.. but that general area. So to the east.. the women captured plumes on camera.. that fits with the plate movement since the old pisgah eruptions 20,000 years ago

between 1345 and 1500 UTC the "non existing" volcano in Pisgah vented. I observed this via the National Weather Service site:

@billythekid602 what the heck are you talking about, 'vented'? It's a volcano, but that area has been quiet for ~25ka now, it's as cold as gravedigger's arse.
Not saying something might not kick off in the general area again, but if it does it'll be known well in advance; earthquake swarms, inflation, SO2 & CO2, He isotope ratios, harmonic tremor etc. - but it won't be the same place, most of the holocene volcanics in that general area are the products of monogenetic eruptions IIRC.

@abaduck - I would generally agree with however, you're assuming you're getting unfiltered, manipulation free information from the USGS and that I seriously doubt is happening. What would YOU do if you knew that (as you correctly state) a 2000 year old dormant volcano all of a sudden started percolating?? You would have mass hysteria on your hands. Folks are nervous as it is living in that state and (factual) information such as this area waking up might trigger a mass exodus..... just sayin'..

5. People don't generally DO 'mass hysteria' when a volcanic area gets restless - 'mass denial' is the usual reaction. Think Long Valley / Mammoth.

@abaduck - What I would do is what I did, I got out of the state. Actually it was a culmination of the financial instability of the state, hiking taxes, lowering quality of life etc... but with this latest event, I am absolutely not regretting my decision. I would hate to see a catastrophic event take place on the west coast however I think the deck is staked against it. Combine the "over due" aspect and the coming alignment of celestial bodies, I'm thinking something serious is about to go POP

Perhaps a silly question, but how broad is the no-fly in this area? I realize the number of Military installations, and God knows what other facilities, are located in this region. Seems an adept pilot, either fixed or rotor, could get near/high enough for an experienced photographer/videographer with right equipment tocapture this. I believe it to be happening. Daddy always said, "when a secure facility is erected, off limits to the citizens, it is a license to withhold secrets. Period".

You should get in touch with someone at Roy's gas station and ask them to keep an eye on that vent. When it starts steaming he could take some pictures. He probably doesn't have much else to do; I doubt if that station is very busy.

The smoke you see is far from the crater, I do not think that is a vent, as these are near the crater, behind the mountain is a military base. I speak little English, but I would call the gas station and I asked if they had seen anything unusual in the crater. I hope someone can do it. In the desert you can see very small tornadoes of dust. Also big as I saw haboob in Phx. Flagstaff is about 600 volcanoes, you can see the lava, and it looks as if it was not long ago and has very many years.Tks.

I commented on the actual video by yvonneandangie as well, but the Amboy Crater is NOT the Pisgah Crater. They are located in the same lava field, about 42 miles apart at the least. This is Lavic Lake I believe. Pisgah and surrounding area is mostly on privately own land. Has no one else noticed this?

@apertureohio You're correct. These photos are NOT of Pisgah, no way. The dead give away is that they were taken from in town, which like you said is approx. 42 mi away from Pisgah. Also, 29 Palms Marine Corp. base is also in that area, just a couple miles away from that gas station and Roy's Diner.

Dutch, i think this could be the big plume caught on video.... It is from a live video camera network run by the University Cal San Diego (high performance wireless research education network or "HPWREN")This is a north facing mountain top camera. @myrainywoods my degree is in geology - University of Glasgow 1988. Main interests volcanology, and paleontology, especially the evolution of the chordate-echinoderm complex.
If you're reading radar and seeking an explanation surely you should be dealing with NOAA, rather than USGS, since whatever radar returns you're talking about were unconnected with any geological process.
I don't see where 'trust the gov' comes into it.

@abaduck It was technically a type of eruption, but there was simply no lava. The USGS has lost it's credibility by saying there was no seismicitiy in the region and the plumes were thunderstorms that form in the middle of the desert.

Wow your so in need of praise and noteriety that you have convinced yourself that is volcanic venting. Have you ever lived in a dry hot dusty place like this? The last cloud 8:25 you see is a car driving down the road kicking up dust.Thats it.You can clearly see the road in line with where the dust cloud originates. The other ones are either dust devils or military personel firing ordinace at something. You are near the biggest live fire training facility in the USA. C'mon people really?

Also want to add that after not having seen rain for so long a time we have now had lots of rain starting last night and the crater area has since been covered up with lots of radar condensation so it's hard to see any plumes in the area now...

Hi Everyone- first of all we want to say that my GPS phone told us that this was the Pisgah Crater. Perhaps it was wrong like it can be so many other times. Secondly, we did not say that these were steam plumes and wondered if they could be military ones. We did go out there two days ago and the gas was that expensive! We ran out of memory on the video unfortunately and were only left with still shots. Sorry if we wasted everyone's time with this. We were only trying to help Dutch...

The location this video and pictures were taken from was not at the location of the suspected Pisgah area venting unfortunately. This is from Amboy Crater and if you look on google earth just to the west of the Amboy Crater is an area where the military performs Artillery Blasts. I wish they would have gone to the right area.

Roys is now going to be "surprised" about the amount of phone calls. While your at it, ask him if this is a normal occurrence? If this is indeed military training, then he should be immune to seeing such things.

@MrSantana5150 It wouldn't be surprising if it was a 1.00 or more. 150 miles away is actually quite a difference. We all see what just down the block in a local area does on Gas prices or even across the street. I have no doubt that these gas prices would be current. I have made many trips in a no mans land area, gas is always much much higher..even as much as 2.00 more than what we pay locally.

@MrSantana5150 Why don't you call the gas station like I just did, I live all the way in Alb. NM. I just spoke to the man a few minutes ago. He said very clearly, REGULAR GAS IS $4.89 A GALLON. So please, stop trying to disprove the video by the whole "gas price" thing. Seriously, a simple phone call and it's over.

I just want you all to know, I just called Roy's and was told, regular gas is $4.89 a gallon. So yes, it IS that high.

Gas is $4.69 per gallon here in Needles at the gas station on J Street. I'm sure it would cost more in the middle of the desert.

Im a artillary man at fort sill,ok This was takin near a artillary base. Thats only rounds hitting the surface. We shoot blank rounds, basically telephone poles for training and thats what it looks like on impact. Im kinda disappointed in dutch to be so quick to call this "proof" Sucks, i was just tellin my wife about dutch yesterday and now I kinda feel like he has discredited himself with this.

It would be a little more assuring to see something bigger and up closer and on video. Compared to the plumes we've seen via radar over the past few days, that's pretty small. The plumes we've seen were the size of a city. Maybe someone will capture a big one; I'm sure there's plenty of people looking now. I'd go myself if I could afford it.

@TyrantsAREhere Yeah but, if the crater is venting gas, some of it would be see through. So it can show up on radar as a very large plume but actually not be seen. I was privelidged to swim in a 2100 year old hot spring called Pamukale in Turkey. They have an oracle/shaman ledgend based on the gasses coming out of the ground there. It's all CO2 and CO thats coming out. You can't see it, smell it, nothing, but it kills in about 2 minutes by suffocation. Half the mountain is covered in vents

@myrainywoods Let me just say that this doesn't really affect Dutch's conclusions about the plumes for me. I still think he's dead onto the truth, I just don't think this video confirms it, and in fact is starting to look like they are just sensationalists... It immediately struck me as odd that at the critical point of the video live shots stopped and all we got thereafter was still shots, especially after we were tortured with 3-4 minutes of a drive that was totally irrelevant.

I'm at a loss to understan why there would be a consperasy to hide vocanic activity if that is what this actually is. Who would the conspirators be? The state of California? The federal government? The US Geological Survey? What purpose would they have for hiding such a thing?

I hate to be a wet blanket, bc I really wanted this to vindicate you, but it doesn't. It is very suspicious. Who makes a trip like that, spends all their space or battery on a drive no one cares about, and misses the critical live shot of the plume? Those could have been still shots of anything at any time. It just doesn't make sense, and there must be some scrutiny of these things or the truthers are simply believing blindly just like the masses believe the MSM. Wait for another confrmation

@myrainywoods Thanks so much. I am so appreciative of people like Dutchsinse. I am in no way a doomsday person, but I like to be aware to some extent. The way he does his videos is perfect for me. Ever since my brother told me not to ever trust the government, I don't. One thing my brother did say was, "if the government says something is just fine, not to worry, THAT'S when you need to worry." Everything Dutch posts is just enough to keep us informed without the total "end of the world" theme.

@myrainywoods Gas is actually that high, when your out in the middle of now where. Do you ever take road trips and your in rual area, Gas is always on the expensive side. Your also in CA. Anyone who has made trips like this through a dessert in CA knows this, or Nevada.

@myrainywoods My brother who was murdered at only 36 by a complete stranger, used to work at NORAD while in the Air Force. He would never tell us anything about his work other than saying, "you have NO idea what the government does and is planning to do, it's mind blowing." No matter how hard we tried, he couldn't and wouldn't talk about anything he knew. You could actually see his face "alter" if you will, when we would see him thinking about it. It was sooo strange.

Obviously this video was to credit his findings. He never promoted the uploaders channel or videos, just used to try and match unmatchable data. All he did was thank the ladies for getting footage that may make people think he has a clue what he is talking about.

Would that small plume be visible on RADAR? Not likely, but whatever makes the story seem real. Good job to the people that got the footage, I think misinterpreting info is a dead on accurate explanation of half of dutch's videos.

It was probably Twenty Nine Palms Marine exercises. Or its probably more likely to be someone driving on the dirt roads kicking up dust or a campfire or just the downdrafts coming down the mountain kicking up sand. If it were volcanic there would be earthquake swarms to back this up.
