  • This album is tight! Every track!!

  • when did this come out?...cool!

  • @Rat69Fink It was orginally released on the Japanese pressings of Odelay.

  • Sm00000000th & Funky. I can dig it ...

  • Dogs101 brought me here.

  • @SkrewLimbBizkit both albums were produced by the dust brothers

  • got this long time ago when u could get 12 CDs for 12cent....this CD was a awesome find

  • Beautiful. Didn't know this one. It's not on my Odelay tape.

  • Did anyone else check if you could play this video higher than 360p?!

  • saucool

  • This song samples the Ramsey Lewis track "Upendo ni Pamoja" from the album with the same name.

  • intro greatest shit ever especially the first "gotta get it"

  • the chorus the scariest thing i've heard. you know, in a good way.

  • sucks this shoulda been on ALL copies

  • @MASEOLIO Beck has to have some secret nuggets, it just makes the most sense

  • Yeah another Brit here.... was one of my fave things on the Album... aww hell it was all amazing

  • The part where he starts saying "Diskobox" would sound awesome with that Flip Top Box song. Just thinking.

  • @kouxei oh would it just!

  • beck is a genius

  • sounds like buckethead a bit

  • Reminds me of Pauls Boutique era Beastie Boys.

  • educate your mind on the dust brothers. Your answers are all there

  • Yes, I am aware they worked on Pauls Boutique

  • they produced this album also, Beck worked with others but ended up with the Dust Brothers on this album which only adds to Becks genius. That's why this reminds you of Pauls Boutique I'm guessing.

  • @ScrewLimbBizkit nowhere near as good-rhymes but, unfortunately..

  • @ScrewLimbBizkit Both albums were produced by the Dust Brothers

  • @ScrewLimbBizkit Good point. That is because the Dust Brothers produced this album. Great suff.

  • @ScrewLimbBizkit That is because the Dust Brothers produced both of these albums. They bring the big funky blues inspired stuff, with the best beats that rip.

  • @ScrewLimbBizkit Same Producers, Dust Brothers

  • it is on the deluxe edition. well. on my version anyways

  • WHY is this not on the Deluxe Edition?

  • Early Beck is just genius

  • @GreggaryPeccary Sea Change Isn't Early...Almost A Decade Before He Started His Career, And Its HIS BEST WORK

  • @rupilan ... says you. :P I actually always thought Mellow Gold or Midnite Vultures was his best work, is that weird?

  • @TheFlabbyEschebone Midnite Isnt That good, Not Good as Odeley, But the same kind of thing....try his 2nd album stereo....manure. Theres a couple of cool tracks there...maybe even 5!

  • @rupilan It's all genius!

  • That's the drum beat from Get Up Offa That Thing. That's pretty cool

  • It's the Horns.

  • i had this on my cd then bought the deluxe thinking this was on there *it wasnt* LOL

  • Same here, funny that, but then it had 3 other unreleased tracks.

  • yeah funny that, i still kept the standard!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow,i don't remember odelay having this song on my Cd?But this is a cool song from beck, hey by the way it seems like he's singing this song with somebody else,by the way who is that singer singing along with beck?

  • It only appeared on some copies of Odelay, not all, and it doesn't appear on Odelay Deluxe at all.

It is John Spencer of The John Spencer Blues Explosion singing along with Beck on this track. Apparently, the two of them have an albums worth of songs recorded together, but never released. That's only a rumour though, might not be true.

Also, John Spencer is credited on this track for "Keychain" for some reason.

  • This one tends to be on the UK copies, like how Clock tends to be on Japanese copies.

  • This is also in my spanish copy..it must be Europe. Not UK.

  • Probably.

  • Yes, and the same kind of thing happened later with Midnite Vultures, with the Japanese version getting "Arabian Nights" on it as a bonus track.

  • thanks so much for posting this!!!!!! I love your videos. dang. love beck.
